I've just gone through all the challenges and it's really bugging me how I keep having to turn the TC off and change the transmission for each and every event :grumpy:

It annoys me as well! I never knew you could change transmission though???

You can't change the transmission in round 1 since you are using the Nissan Leaf electric. In round 2 you use the Nissan Silvia which can be changed to manual. But once you change it to manual, it will stay like that when you go to the next test. You only have to switch of TC manually (which indeed is an annoyance).

I've noticed even though it defaults to TCS 5 when clicking on Driving Options, when I set a new time it says I'm not using it, even if I didn't turn it off. I dunno? Sure doesn't feel like it's on running 2-4 where I'm getting sideways in 2nd gear with ease :P.

So are you guys telling me that if I turn off traction control on 2-2, and complete the test, and then move on to 2-3, the traction control is reset to 5? If that is the case, I had no idea. :grumpy:

That is indeed the test. I made this mistake at first because I took off traction control, golded the challenge. Moved on to the next one and couldn't complete it because traction control had been turned on.

Wow. In that case, then I have a ton of time left on the track! 👍
