After eating lunch, dinner, whatever... you put your plate in the sink and finish watching your favorite TV show.

When you come back to wash the dishes, do you find yourself finding the leftover food being nasty? I was ask myself why I feel this way, cause I just finished eating what I am now thinking is nasty. Just wondered if I was alone on this. :reallyodd

I don't tend to eat alot at work some when I come home and have dinner my plate ends up being pretty clean....so no problem! Failing that the food goes in the trash and the plate gets dumped in the dishwasher!💡

I have a sister in the health department that explains why it is nasty in the best way possible. Bacteria multiply exponentially on a plate of food (even if it's mostly gone.) So think of it as 1, 2, 4, 16, 256, 65536, 4294967296, 18446744073709551616 and so on. On food left out between 40 and 140 degrees F there is a 4 hour window of edibility before it begins to turn toxic.

Oh yeah, and never eat at white castle.
