Back on November 5, I was able to locate a PS5 for a not insane price. I placed my order, then placed another order for an extra controller, a charging stand, and a remote. I received the second order in a few days. However, the PS5 still hasn't showed up. It was originally scheduled for delivery last Monday, November 22. Monday came.....no PS5. Tuesday, same thing. Wednesday.....Thursday.....Friday.....Saturday, nothing. I went down to the FedEx Ground processing facility twice. Both times I was told they couldn't locate the package and would call me. I haven't received any call from anyone at FedEx. The 2nd time I went down there, I was there for a little over 4 hours. I was getting quite irate and one guy even threatened to have the cops remove from the premises. I told him to go ahead and either call them or get off his a** and go back and find my GD package.

I filed a lost package claim the next day. This past Monday, I get an email stating that my claim was denied. It said the shipper has to file the claim. So now I'm in contact with the shipper so they can file the claim and so I don't get charged anything for an item I don't have.

Obviously, I'd much rather have the item I paid for.

So now I get to try and find another PS5 and hope to God whoever has one doesn't use FedEx Ground to ship it.

So I STRONGLY suggest not ordering anything from anyone who uses FedEx Ground. And in case you haven't heard, there have been 2 incidences where FedEx "drivers" (they use contracted drivers for their Ground deliveries, NOT FedEx employees) dumped hundreds of packages in a ravine, rather then deliver them.

1st incident

2nd incident

I think UPS is just as bad TBH. My company had ordered a brand new macbook for me to provision for one of my users and it never arrived. Supposedly it was delivered @7:20 am to my apartment. Never saw it. I filed a report with UPS and I am still waiting for them to respond after their initial response. This happened back in March. Hopefully you will be able to get your situation rectified

TBH, I've only every had one issue with UPS. I didn't get a package on the day it was supposed to be delivered, but it showed up early the next morning. Every other time, I've gotten my packages from them when I was supposed to.

I loathe the USP. And now I consider FedEx worse than the USPS. Which is really saying something because I hold NO respect or faith for those idiots. My mail comes anywhere from 7:30 am to 10:30pm (yes, that late at night). And some days they just don't run. And I've also watched them drive down the street and skip every other mailbox. What are the chances that every other house didn't get any mail, whatsoever? Astronomical, if you ask me.

Regarding my PS5.....
I had the shipper file a claim on it. So I definitely won't be getting the one I originally ordered. And everywhere I've checked is sold out.....except for ebay. And I'm not about to pay that much for 1. Hopefully when I get my tax refund next year (which usually comes about the same time as my bonus at work), I'll be able to find one. And that'll get just in time for GT7. And hopefully I can pick up the 25th Anniversary Edition of it at that time.

At least I already have an extra controller, a charger, and the remote for it, lol.

The only problem I've had with UPS is that they deliver my stuff too early when I'm not expecting. One example being my PS5 being delivered literally minutes after I left for work (my tracking app said that it would arrive at noon, so I would've taken care of it on my lunch break). I then had to wait for them to drop it off at a nearby shipping center close to home so I can pick it up the next day.
