Annoying inconsistant view

I've noticed that some cars have a much different perspective when in Roof view than others.

Example
RX7 LMRC camera is low, you see most of the hood and it seems very wide.
Trans Am camera is high and you can see almost 1/2 the roof car looks less than 1/2 as wide as the RX7.

I have not yet driven the 71 Mach 1 Mustang but seems like in GT5 it had the lower view showing the hood and taking up the width or most of the view port where other cars are high, show some roof and the car looks tiny in comparison.

Would be nice to have the same view options on all cars ideally the roof and the hood views but would rather have the hood [cover of engine compartment] rather than roof [cover of passenger area]

Would also be really nice to have an optional rear view mirror that could be displayed in these views as part of the hud, top center of screen like it is in bumper mode

I'm the other way. I want roof view, and the HIGH roof view from GT4 and in the replay options.

In fact, just to harp one more time on this topic, Kaz should give us the option tools to set up our driver views ANY WAY we want to.

Location: bumper, interior, roof, chase
Position: location, aim, field of view
Dynamics: sway/fixed amount, vibration amount camera, vibration amount car
Collisions: jarring amount, blur effect, blur duration

Saves should be both global, and edits saved to car.

I agree but also need to add hood to that. I have no problem leaving the roof view but hood view is more realistic and would be nice to have

The reason I didn't include hood view is because I included driver view location as a parameter. I would code it so that you made a hood view by moving the bumper cam back onto the hood. The camera rises automatically to avoid the body mesh, and then you raise it and move left, right or most likely leave it centered. Aim it, define its dynamic parameters, and you have a hood cam. :)

That would work or even be able to move the interior cam forward to just inside the windshield so you could get a clear full view of hood and road but still be obstructed by the rain/snow on the glass and the wipers.
