Remember when you couldn't buy 95% of the cars in GT5 until you "leveled" up? And you had to actually work in the game to just gain the ability to buy these cars nevermind have credits to do it?

Now you all complain that payouts aren't high enough to buy cars you couldn't even attempt to buy in game in GT5 for months until you grinded out levels. ALL cars are available to buy now. No more leveling up. You will be enjoying faster, bigger, better cars much sooner in this game then in GT5. Enjoy it.

I'm buying two of the 7mill credits off PSN because I'm not very patient... I like the 458 Italia for a reason I suppose ;)

I don't think credits are extremely difficult to come by, but I guess that depends on what machinery you're looking to get your hands on.

I have just under 500k after completely all novice and national B races + 1st 3 rounds of goodwood while using all the cars the game gifts you from getting stars and gold licences. By the time career is finished I'll be well over 1mill maybe 2.

I think the credit packages are insanely expensive. To be perfectly honest I cant figure out why PD is asking for so much for them. Even DLC is much cheaper, surely there must be some kind of mistake in these pricings somewhere?!

I'm not gonna spend real money to by in game credit's and if this is where gaming is leading towards then I will most likely retire for good as this is something that I cannot comprehend. £80 for 20,000,000 credits is just crazy!

50€ are alot, maybe you could try the AMG VGT money glitch which was recently discovered? If you have no problem with "cheating", you should go with this and save the money for christmas presents :)

In GT5 I could use the X1 that PD gave away simply because I happened to own the game when Vettel won his Driver's Championship, give it to a Level 0 Bob, and let him run races while I watched TV, read a book, or played something else on 360 or Wii.

In fact, after my first save was lost when I was ~20% into the game, that's exactly what I did. Then I bought whatever car I wanted (since neither level nor credits posed a problem anymore) and used them online and in arcade.

50 dollars isn't a lot. it's what, 3/4 of an hour of work? Who cares what people do with their money :D

But what you want.

I agree that it is a joke. I expect this BS when I buy a 99p Iphone game but not when I shell out forty of my hard earned pounds on what is, if I'm completely honest, a tweaked version of GT5. I'm a huge GT fan and I hate the fact that I'm now on here complaining about it. It's not PD or Sony it's just the way the industry is going. The potential gains from a high grossing game now outweigh the desire for anyone to create art or a game that is remembered as truly great. (Like Gran Turismo 1)

So your argument is that because the levelling system in GT5 was so awful we should be happy that the economy in GT6 is only bad?

I think your argument is flawed. Pre-seasonals GT5 had the same economy problems that GT6 has, only not quite as bad, so you couldn't have afforded a car then either. Post-seasonals neither money nor XP was an issue, so you could buy whatever you want.

Sure, if you're getting paid $65+ an hour.

I bet the vast majority of people here aren't, unless we're talking Hong Kong dollars.

I just like how you're all bashing a fellow community member just for using a feature in the game to speed up the process of being able to buy a car someone likes.

Shame on the lot of you. Unless you have something to say about the actual game this site is about, save it.

If prices were not so high lets say 1$/€ = 1 Million credits, I would buy some miney packs myself, but 7 million for 50 bucks is way too much.
Bringing your car in RL to maintenance sevice costs less than 70 million credits, which would only buy you 3 of the most expensive cars in this game.

 Not grasping the concept are you?

I think the prices to buy credits are so high because pd wants to discourage people from buying it. Its only there for people that have money to burn or are really just that impatient imo.
