Freedom.
That was the assignment, the topic was "Freedom" and this is what i depicted

I dont get it

What in the world does that thing mean?

Hang on...did you have to depict what you thought freedom was and u got that because that does resemble someone who can see freedom?

i originally had the idea of a deeply oppressed man who was kneeling on some european style street, and saw the Light of Hope as well as some doves. He was originally held in captivity against his will from some higher class underground club and now he's "free".

But i chose to stick with this blandish look because, i still have 2 more sketchbook assignments to do, and i knew this wouldn't take long, and this i suppose covers the same idea, he's standing on top of a mountain, out of the loud noisy city to this calm peaceful environment

you should have somehow accentuated that idea of getting away, maybe have a city or industry in the bottom and in the background looking ugly. his pointing kinda confused things; if it's getting out of the city and all that i would have made him relaxing looking off into the sun.

good work though.

yeah its a bit unclear on the idea part, even i dont have a solid explanation for everything.
