I read an article about that earlier. The only catch is that it won't help with spam at all. If it was up to me, I'd fine any and everyone that sends out spam by $1k US per each piece of spam. And I'd also create no loopholes.
 
I still don't understand why IE or most other Windows browsers don't have built-in popup blocking... Almost every single Mac OS X internet browser (with the exception of IE :rolleyes:) has built-in popup blocking. I seriously haven't seen a single pop-up in the past half a year.

Actually, I have nothing against Microsoft, just that I think their era is coming to an end, kind of like IBM....

Why? If you were running a website and a company sponsored you, then you'd either have to put up a banner on your site or a pop-up. Pop ups are merely a way of advertising.

I still hate them none the less.
