Hey everyone! :D
I'm wanting a decent racing setup for gt but not willing to pay the prices for a real playseat and I don't have the handyman skills to make my own, anyways I have £80 pounds at my disposel and was wondering if you had any good tables that I could mount my Logitech GTForce Driving force on. :)

I seen this table and I was wondering if you think it would be a viable option:

Cheers fellow racers, C0F

I have to agree with AutoAki. I have used that type of folding table for eating off of, and I found it was not even stable enough for that.

I mounted my DFGT to a cheap computer desk. Similar to the one pictured here. It worked fine for the longest time, and required little to no modification to use.

Right got it, that's a good choice, will keep it in mind. ;)

Any opinions on the other ideas I had?

Nice idea but I could see that pole getting annoying for trying to use the pedals? :/

It also has the advantage of still being usable if you go on and get a playseat or similar as it can be used to put your TV and speakers on. That's what mine is being used for now.

Actually...

I have this table that I don't need anymore. It's currently in Motherwell and if you want to meet me half way, it's yours for nowt.

It does have one dodgy leg, but you only notice when you try and move it. when it's just sitting there, being used, you'd never know.

That's tempting Daan...Tell you what I'll let you know later my decision! Cheers for the offer and I will get back to you later once i'm back at my place and outta work. :)

I use a desk very similar to the one above. Mine has lasted over a year but is about shot. If you use it, strengthen it with some braces and it'll last for years.

Cheers Daan but I had this table sitting around with a load of crap on it, cleared it gave it a clean and viola! (Attachments)
Working on it still, paint it and stuff, only got dashboard orniments so far. ;)
Cheers for the help Fellow racers
And cheers for the idea daan :D.

Hmm...Image isn't working...

Sounds like you found a solution Chariots. I used a TV tray exactly like you asked about for an old Logitech Driving Force wheel when I played GT4. That tray worked with an office chair or off a couch. I had to keep all the screws tight as the whole tray would become wobbly as they loosened up. For anyone in a pinch or on a terrible budget a wooden folding TV tray will work, it just might not be the best solution. For the price and convenience, its not bad.
