Just wondering if there's any Rubik's cubers here.
Post a story of how you started cubing and your time to speedcubing, and maybe a video of a solve
I first started 3 years ago, solved it in just over a minute using a bad cube. I then left it and stopped. My first cube was treated badly. I put vaseline into it (NEVER EVER do that, it destroys the plastic) and it was thrown into the sea by my cousin (no idea what happened after that). My first cube was a Rubik's brand cube.
Last month I started cubing again because my friend did the cube in 2 minutes and thought he was great. I returned to teach him a lesson

I then bought a DaYan GuHong and posted this 12 days later:

One of my friends claimed to be able to do the cube in 49 seconds and another guy in one of my classes claimed 40 seconds.
So after a month of constant practice I finally learnt the Fridrich Method
I learnt to do F2L, 2 Look OLL and 2 Look PLL. And a few days later learnt too do the Cross upside down.
I then recently bought a Haiyan Memory and am currently waiting for Lubix to arrive.
