any hints on the IA license?

man Im struggling on the IA license. Ive only finished 11% of the game so far..but Im trying to jump ahead and get my licenses...I breezed through everything up to IB but Im stuck on the first test of IA. The best Ive come after multiple tries is within 2 seconds. Cant beat that. Ive tried running against my ghost and everything. I skipped ahead to the 2nd test of IA and got a silver, but that first one is kicking my ass. any suggestions?

I'm not positive which test the I-A is since I don't have my GT3 for a while...

But if it's the Z06 on the Circular wet track, just use a manual, keep the inside tires on the red/white strip on the inside of the track for better grip.

Try to keep it in 3rd, but if you slow down too much, drop it in third, and floor it.
