any of you roll race against the ghost?

So I was wondering if any of you do this, I take a car ( most of them high hp street cars ) and drive it at 60mph, at a certain point ( 400m ) I go wot to make it a roll race and then slow down at a certain point when I reach around 200mph or when the car gives out of power, then continue to do a full lap then I save it as a ghost.

after that I take another car and race against it as a roll race. my favorite is the viper vs the zonda, or the supra on spray vs the viper on motor

Im kind of bored right know, I guess it keeps you interested in the game for a half hour. lol

To me it doesn't seem like much fun but if it keeps you in the game.👍

I find that pretty low of you, to race yourself, but I know what you can do to challenge yourself. Play an Arcade game, Select you most feared track, and hardest car for you to drive, then handicap the AI by adding weight to your car, lowering the power, top speed and selecting the most gripless tires you got. Then you'll get an easy 200 A-Spec race. Have fun..

Anyway, I don't see why you don't just start at full speed or something, like...like...a normal lap?
But I do find giving myself a car that's a handful, and racing at El Capitan or something is fun, like a TVR, against Ford GT, Ruf, etc.

Actually, Racing your ghost car is not that bad, that is if the AI is no chalenge for you. OR you want to race your own drifting skills for a REAL thriller. In fact, I might do that at some point. I remember someone made a drift video where he loaded a 350Z ghost car which had him stop at a point on the track for a while. And the actualy chosen car was a Mustang 350GTR I think. So then he'd line up with the ghost car and started when the 350Z ghost car started to move.

Roll race is a street racing/highway racing thing. You cruise at a certain speed, the two of you side by side at the same speed, you count down or one of you just goes. With a count down it's a race to a certain speed, or a certain distance, or a till one falls too far back. If one just goes and the other goes as a reaction, it's a game of keep up and drafting. (which you cant do with a ghost) It's like TXR. (Tokyo Extreme Racing) At any rate, with high powered cars it's quite fun. Sort of fun in a stock econo car, but they run out too quick.

I think it started as a way for FF and FR and 4wd to race evenly w/o an advantage from drivetrain type or tires. It puts motor vs motor basically.

I tandem drift with my ghosts also. Load a lap of you drifting at a track as a ghost and try and out drift it w/o going through it lol. Way fun.

I didnt want to go to specific since I thought most of you on here knew what it meant, I guess I was wrong. anyway its quite fun to do it on the test track oval, just get to cars that you think is good competition, drive the car as a roll race and complete the lap after then save it as a ghost then choose the other car, load the ghost and race it.

Go try it at La Sarthe (w/o the chicanes) on the LONG Mulsaine (sp??) straight. That's where I do it, that's real fun because the cars wiggle on some of the bumps and there's slight kinks. Makes things interesting.

+1 I did it already and yes it is pretty sweet but I do it with less powerfull cars, some of my supra's spin in third if I'm not carefull
