Anything of the likes of king tubby, scientist, prince jammy, mikey dread, mad professor, even some bob marley dub songs. Also please no mention of dubstep here. Even though it has the word "dub" and is originated from a mix of what seems to be reggae dub, electronica, and industrial. I do not find dubstep to be even remotly close to what reggae dub has been and done for the world of music. So any reggae dub fans please feel free to post any finds, albums, songs, artists, anything.

I love dubstep, Skrillex is my favourite band.

Anyway, how can you say that the tune below isn't "remotely close" to dub?

I don't find the echo'ish, trance like drums and such to fit into the same genre as say this would be in

or this

I'm not really into Dub, but have been brought up around it (reggae in general, family functions.. always some reggae Tumpin in the background ).

Absolutely love that King Tubby dub you posted (must have played it about 5 times now).

Anyway, not a dub but i like this tune:

The Abyssinians 'This land is for everyone' (except.. dubstep & Skril-laxative )

And since it's a dub thread:

The Abyssinians 'Jah Loves'

Woah, haven't really checked the gtp forums in a few months. Gona take a listen to those songs when I get on a computer for links don't launch properly on my phone.

King Tubby is awesome, old school too. I like some of the newer bands like The Drastics.

Didn't expect to hear the Mikey Dread intro, very smooth reggea 👍

Also loved your post of The Drastics, XS. Always thought of forming a group just to play dub for fun since i have a trumpet. Going to have to dig up what i can from these 2 since i enjoyed these so much.:)

Can't seem to find the dub version of the song i wanted to post anymore so i'm just going to post the actual song haha.
