Am trying to replace my 3+ yo Playseats Evo and think I've found the seat. Any rSeat owners here? Would love your feedback.

I've enjoyed the Evo but when hard mounting the pedals I had a choice to make ...right or left foot braking.
When I'm using the clutch (and right foot braking) I have to twist my foot around the post to reach and I have the bruises to prove it! :)
When I go back to F1 (or other paddle shift) racing, I have no problem as the post is between the gas and brake for left foot braking.
Tired of that! Also, the angle of the pedal plate is far too steep for the G27, IMHO.
So all of that has lead me to the rSeat, looks good, looks sturdy, right price range. How 'bout it? Any comments, advice? I"m 6', use a G27.

Looks great, good review on ISR. If you can afford it I'd say get it 👍 If I had the scratch I'd get one; black with a red seat.

I'd also suggest waiting for their one size fits all (wheels) model that way if you upgrade/change your wheel you don't have to redrill for another wheel.

I have tried contacting them to get more info a week ago and got no response yet.

I have tried contacting them to get more info a week ago and got no response yet. Even though InsideSimRacing advertise them (not for free obviously) I wouldn't trust a Bulgarian company. The only thing Bulgaria produces is gypsies and a gay singer named Oasis... I might be rude but I'm pissed off because they did not reply to me.

My initial attempts were unsuccessful as well but I finally received a reply on Nov. 8th stating they had been at a convention in Europe. Since then things have improved.
I intended to purchase thru Amazon as they have a protection for purchases made thru the Marketplace (AtoZ Guarantee).
Too new of a company to find much feedback about them which is always a concern.

Hi there,

found this thread via Google, searching for users with the rSeat :-) Unfortunately there seems to be none :-(

Well, I also think about buying me one if this seats since I found none comparable. I just have to wait for getting my november salary ^^ I'd say that paying with Paypal should be safe, shouldn't it?

In addition their site looks very professionell and as well is translated into german very well. I also got very quick response to a request; I think it was less than one hour and I had sent my email after midnight ^^ They even contacted me and asked if they could help me to place my order after I put some articles in the shopping basket but did not finish the order for 2 or 3 days (or do they just want to get my money? ;-)).

My main concern is what you can see here if the seat is extended for taller people (I'm 181 cm), however it does not seem to be a big problem.*

One (or the only) alternative for me would be a seat from raceroom.com, but since there is no monitor stand for three displays it actually isn't a real alternative.

To cut a long story short: I think I've got no other choice than testing the rSeat :D

I think I gona place my order end of this week and can keep you up to date.

* as found at the insidesimracing forum the mentioned issue on the extended seat should be fixed with the current V3 version:
They also updated that they fixed the "flex" issue.

Hi blu-raykiller, just wondering. Are you going to put anything under it, like felt pads. So it does not scratch up the hardwood floor. Or is it sitting on rubber feet? I have hardwood too, was trying to figure out a solution.

I'll probably put on the floor with a white carpet.
There is much work waiting for me to finish the whole setup :)

Got mine - in red, as you can see :)

Everything came extremely well packaged and in a huge amount of foil to prevent any scratches etc (4 work days of delivery from Bulgaria to Germany). It took me as long to unpackage everything as it took me to build up the seat ;) All in all you don't need a degree to assemble everything, just a 6 mm (EU) hex wrench* for the seat, pedals and wheel as well as a strong hand to thighten the plastic knobs on the tubes.

I was and still am really positively surprised of the quality every single piece has. The metal parts are very massive and high-quality finished as well is the seat is. There is absolutely no movement of the rig while driving as seen in the review of InsideSimRacing (I think it was fixed with the EVO V3 version; I am 181 cm). Since I adjusted the pedal plate horizontally I have no movement there as well.

Even if there are plastic nubs under the seat I'd recommend to attach felt pads to prevent scratches on the floor (got one on my laminate now :(). As mentioned elsewhere the cushion of the seat is not the thickest but I don't have any problems with it.

The monitor stand is also finished in perfect quality, though it is not easy to align three monitors accurately to each other since there is always a little play everywhere, on the joints of the stand as well as on the drill holes of the VESA mount. I only wish to have some cable guidings on the stand like on the wheel stand (it's a mess at the moment as you can see on the photos ;)).

There are all screws included to attach a Fanatec CSR wheel, Clubsport pedals and the Fanatec shifter set. On a DELL U2412M monitor you need four M4 x 20 mm screws (the delivered ones from DELL are too short for VESA mount) and washers.

My racing hardware is a Fanatec CSR wheel with Clubsport pedals, the PC is a Intel Core i7 2600K, ASUS DirectCU II HD 6970, 8 GB DDR3 Ram, 3 x DELL U2412M (1920x1200) on Windows 7 64 bit. Mainly used for Race07 + GT + WTCC 2010 addons.

*) I recommend not to use the delivered wrench. If you don't have one you should spend some money on it. I tightened the screws and damaged the wrench - luckily not the screw head! After this experience I used my own tools.

does this have a mount for the MT shifter

Well there is a shifter mount delivered with the seat, but what is a "MT shifter"?

All I can say is
Hard Mount your shifter

The gear shifter comes predrilled for logitech G25/G27 and Thrustmaster TH8RS Shifter. For Fanatec shifter set we provide 2x140mm M10 Bolts to hard mount it to the shifter mount.

Shifter is Included

The gear shifter comes included in the package.

Thanks for the review. Glad to see the frame bending issues are fixed for tall users. Means I can let my dad have a go as well if I get one. Shame the cushion isn't well packet, but I know where to get foam so that won't be an issue. Else the neighbors son works or worked for a upholstery company, so I am sure he knows how to fill it properly. And the floor, I'll see what I do about that if I get one.
I reckon shipping will be cheaper from Bulgaria to the Netherlands then from Apiga in Hong Kong which I was looking at first.
Afterall, I think I deserve a nice rig with the hardware I have (see sig) and a testing CSW in the near future. Although looking at my wallet it won't be before my birthday in February. :(

what's the difference between the EVO and GTR?
Hm .. I thought the GTR can handle Logitech wheels only while the EVO is designed for Fanatec and Thrustmaster. That should be one of the advantages of the V3, that each wheel can be mounted to it. That's why there is only the EVO left and no GTR V3.

Now the description on the website does say GTR V2 and EVO V2 can both handle Fanatec and Thrustmaster but no Logitech. I think this is wrong. Best would be to contact rSeat on that question.

I also wonder why the V2 versions are available in the US but not in europe anymore since each seat is manufactured in the EU!?

I would think that the v2 is no longer in EU because they are no longer in production since the v3 came out. And US still has stock because they have not depleted there inventory which is probly why there also offering the v2 at a lower price

The rseat looks great...if I didn't already have an obutto I would probably purchase this.

I just got my Wheel Stand Pro Deluxe in. I haven't gotten the CSR in yet, but I mounted my DFP on it to try it out. Not sure if I like it. It's sturdy, but it looks a bit shoddy for $200. :(

I might return it and pick up an rSeat... :embarrassed:

Do it..... You only live once.

Looks really good for the price.

I would like to see some pics of this rig with inverted pedals on a G27. Modification would definitely be needed.

By shoddy do you mean poor craftsmanship or you just don't like the style? It is well built, I've had one for 3 years and have put a a DFP, G27, and T500 + TH8 RS on it with no issues. But if you can afford the rSeat and have the space for it then you will enjoy it much more than a wheelstand pro.
