Hi guys,

I recently got every car in the game except for the ford roadster and the ferrari and aston martin invite only cars, it doesnt seem like I'm going to get these soon , so someone in the same situation did something like reseting before getting the price on the ticket ?

Thanks!

Short answer: No.

Long answer: There is a method to retain a ticket after you've opened it, but it will only generate the same prize repeatedly unless there's a content update (such as the one that's probably coming next week). Content updates may generate new prizes for tickets, but it appears that they will only be new prizes of the same type. Thus if you have a ticket that generates an invite it may change to an invite for a different brand after an update - but it's not a guarantee that it will and you won't get invites from tickets that didn't previously give them.

Yup before the last update I had 2 invites tickets that I held for after the update neither changed.

Now I again have 2 more invite tickets and waiting for the next update to see if luck is on my side.

Ford Roadster is a LCD car.
I have been waiting 6+ months for it.
I only need the Porsche and 3 Ferraris

We are in the same boat then... Frustating system to be honest.
Think it was the Renault R8 was in the LCD with in two weeks of it leaving.
The invite system is annoying as the only way to get them is via tickets.

Thanks for the advice! So I can open the ticket see if it is an invite, shutdown the console and wait for an update then?

You the think the Renault is using the spot of the Ford? Well nice coding PD!
Yeah, if the odds are against, you won't complete the collection... so annoying.

I think PD randomly chooses cars or if its random by the game, it means the odds of the same car appearing twice in a month is very low.
I guess each car has its own odds of being in the LCD at any given point.

As long as you are in the window where the price is reveal, the game will not save. You only need to shut down the game and then your ticket will be waiting until the next time you try.

The fact that the majority of cars can be relatively accurately predicted before they arrive denies this hypothesis.

Some cars do arrive out of sequence, but the gaps between appearances exceed the gaps between updates so it could be as simple as "updates change the order slightly". That's certainly the case for the Escudo, which was apparently coded out of the sequence entirely and re-added in a recent update, and it may also apply to the also long-term missing Ford Roadster.
