Exactly. It was the same story with TDU2. Luckily, they became available as DLC after a few months but it doesn't look like these are going to anytime soon.

This. It's very frustrating, and means every copy of the game is technically incomplete until the release all of the pre-order cars. I'm happy I snagged the 1M, but I still wouldn't mind using some of the other vehicles - especially since I see them as AI in races, or find people are sharing them in the Club garage, but I can't actually drive them.

I keep hoping T10 (and PD) do what was done for GT PSP, and all the pre-order bonuses were available free of charge six months after the game release, but it's seeming increasingly unlikely.

I'd love for them to release them. As a pack or individually. Free or for a price. I really want the CRZ and Impreza but don't really care for any of the other cars.

I swapped my STI code for the Alfa in the hope the others became available. I sure hope they do considering we can race against them as ai.

I got screwed on my 1M from Best buy. Every code they give me has been used and they say it's MS's problem and then MS blames it on Best Buy.

Retailer specific pre-order bonuses (and pre-order bonuses in general) need to burn in hell. I remember ModNation Racers had this thing where they had five different stores each offering a free car and character like Nathan Drake or Kratos. So you had to choose which one you liked best. I think that if it is ready to use in game on or soon after release, it should be in the game or free FOR EVERYONE.

I don't mind pre-order bonuses like ModNation as it's not really going to affect anything in game. They are a good way to get people to buy the game new and right when it comes out.

Saying that, I do agree that the way T10 did it sucks as not having the cars I don't have does affect my experience.

What bothers me is that you HAVE to pre-order if you want to get certain content, and then with retailer-exlusive items you have to choose where to pre-order from, meaning you will miss out on other stuff you may want.
