Anybody else waiting for Ghost Recon?

I am, but I cant find any info on this game, but on gamespy and ign. Pretty poor coverage.

I'm waiting for it, for sure. Heck, I still play Rouge Spear on my Dreamcast. I really dig those type of games. I usually don't do very well at them but I really enjoy playing them. It's weird, I find the Rainbow Six games fairly hard yet interesting and playable, and games like MGS:2 SOL easy and boring.

But yes, definitely waiting for Ghost Recon. I have thought about picking up Conflict: Desert Storm but I just picked up NFS: Hot Pursuit 2 which is good fun (not GT3 fun, different type of game).

I haven't tried Socom Navy Seals, but a freind of mine has it and is going to let me borrow it when he is bored with it.

Yeah, same here, I found MGS2 extremely repetitive and boring. Playing rogue spear is a different feeling, it totally inmerses me on the missions, the sound. I almost feel like a member of that team.

I've only played the ones on the Dreamcast, which include
Rainbow Six and RS: Rogue Spear. My computer at home is
pretty much a turd and I don't think my boss would appreciate
my need to put a cap in the ass of a terroist whilst at work.

I would like to get Ghost Recon for PC, my wife and I are thinking
(I'm hoping) about getting a PC for "our" Christmas gift to each other.

I do like the sneaking about and dropping a guy and then
backing "out of the scene" and finding another enemy to
take down.

Personally, those games are best left on the PC. But, if you can plug in a keyboard and a mouse, then I don't see why not. I'd rather get Raven Shield though, that game is going to own!

I downloaded that game, it's a good thing I did too, because after I played it for a while, I found not many people are playing it online. So, I got rid of it. However, I did buy R6, Eagle Watch, Rogue Spear, Urban Ops, and CovertOps(worst expansion-pack ever!)

I'm playing Rogue Spear online, and I'm the only non-german member of a clan, and I'm in the US, so my ping to the host(since I can't host b/c of a router and not being allowed to forward port #'s) is pretty bad, normally around 3orange/1green. I've never been more than 1green to him, but I want to get a LAN game going on inside my house sometime with my family, but none of them really like that game any more. I don't know, I just like having the 100mb/s connection to other computers and playing coop than the crappy over-seas connection to other people. I have cable, but still, the distance hurts...

hahahahha, yeah the rainbow six big pack. worthless, to begin with, rainbow six and eagle watch are obsolete but they were great games in their times, I personally own every rainbow six game until Covert Ops. I pretty much skipped Black Thorn, cuz I was expecting the same. My rogue spear online experience is filled with up and downs. I remember that big disk defragmentization (sp) that I did to have a faster load time in rogue spear. I usually had a good pin. One green line, max 2. Sadly I wanted Ghost Recon for PC, but my PC couldnt handle Quake3 so there you go...

Best Mission on all the Rainbow Games, the Congo mission in the original Rainbow Six.

Best Multi map- bunkers

Best custom deathmatch map ever played-- imagine fitting 10 people in the office training map... 😈

ghost recon is one of my favourite pc titles.
