Anyone else feels this game is just...

Not at all completed on PS4?I'm fully aware the game is amazing on PC.

1. Most wheels have issues with the game, can't calibrate at all.
2. Game feels horrible with the DS4, 3rd person camera is straight up NFS quality.
3. No private lobbies.
4.No private lobbies.
5. Locked DLC from day one, the cars are RIGHT there.
6. Multiple bugs and doesn't even have all the content the PC game has.

I even bought the Season Pass, I like helping people I think have a passion, but idk what happened with this game, PC had a rough launch but this game feels like a BAD demom

I'm actually super upset. I rarely pre-order games, or buy new for that matter. This feels like a gut punch. It looks outdated. And it doesn't run smoothly. P Cars did not give me many bad vibes in its first days (despite flaws). This is giving me bad vibes.

I do realize they will improve it. But that takes time. Let's see what they offer us! How they handle this game going forward will quickly tell me if I would ever support a sequel.

Yeah, my T80 doesnt even work, wife said I could buy a G29 but I honestly feel this game doesnt deserve it, like it plays 100% like an arcade in 3rd person view, it seems this game on PS4 and on PC are two completely different games.

Where was this edition even available?I got the pre ordered cars....I guess?
In Australia it was an EB Games exclusive, not sure where else, but normally Gamestop has the same exclusives.

The thing I find quite disturbing is the removal of content from the PC version, to be sold as DLC later on. Kunos said before the game came out that it would be released with all current PC DLC in the vanilla console game, which it clearly doesn't.

I also read that online portion is region locked :( I'm asking in the console thread if it's true, but one reviewer from Destructoid I think, said online is region locked :(

It seems to be locked, only 7 people online as I type (5 drifters) in Australia.

Looks like AC will be offline game only for me when I get PS4 :( All of my PSN friends are from different continents, so much for asking private lobbies :(
Your friends can invite you to races. It is region locked, while you can not manually change region but if your friend were to send you an invite from say European servers you'll be able to get in the lobby they invited you to. That's how I've been able to race online with people recently. He said the servers over there are always filled while it sucks over here in Australia with no one on or just drifting..

The online portion of the game seems like it's utterly useless on console, but to be fair to the game, I'm not big into online racing anymore anyway, so I'd likely not use it even if it was on par with GT in that regard.

In the end I'm really glad I didn't pre-order it, as I was pretty close to doing at one point. Seems it's launched with a lot of strange bugs and performance issues, had content ripped out of it to justify the season pass, brainless AI that belong in a 90s game, and a boring and redundant career mode.

I fully expected it to be a hotlap simulator, reading about it for the last year or so, so I'm not surprised, but I don't consider that worthy of $100aud, so I'll wait until it's in the bargain bin at EB, which, looking at reviews, shouldn't be a long wait!

Definitely a good hot lap sim, but you are right, that's pretty much it. It seems you cannot even choose car/track combos for yourself, just preset ones from a list. I wanted to try some online track day stuff with the Toyota GT86 and these were my only options... (Sorry for the poor image quality)

Really? One track open for that car other than drifting. I hope there is something I'm missing.

T500RS. I've adjusted the FFB, and have under steer set to on, TC and ALB set to factory. FFB settings are pretty low, don't have in front of me right now. I was referring to the car/track interface; understeer feels about right, game doesn't feel arcady. Not on par with project cars at all though.

I'll definitely pick it up when it's cheap, most likely pre-owned so I can get it as cheap as possible, because the physics look great, and it has a few really cool cars, and the full 10km Monza circuit, which I've wanted in a console sim for what seems like forever.

I loaded it and tried a few laps on some tracks and cars turned assists to Factory and stability to 0.

I need to be able to change seat position and go lower on the FOV.

The framerate is not horrible but not great. Tearing is noticeable.

Why the hell is DRS L3 or is it R3 doesn't matter but that is some brain fart oversight right there .. for the t300 that is the wheel base. And with the formula cars FFB at 35% I get some nice old school wheel oscillation so i really don't want to take my hands off the wheel...

FFB feels good ..
and the h pattern shifting on the Merc 190e felt natural..

Will get back to it in the morning...

I'm loving the feel of the game, but it does feel very "bare" in comparison to Project Cars (or most games for that matter).

I'm not having too many issues with the DS4 (even though it would be a lot better with a wheel), but the car and track list grows thin pretty quickly...

It is not removal of content. Those are not free cars for AC pc version though. PC users paid for it by buying Dream pack 1-3. If console player get those for free, is it fair for the pc player who paid for all these?

If you pre-order you get it for free then thats another case.

you can see how much dream pack 1-3 cost in here

Marco said months ago that the console version would launch with all current PC DLC content in the vanilla game. Of course it's fair to the PC crowd, they've had the game for ages. They paid for the content when it came out, and have been able to enjoy it for a while now. It's like saying it's unfair that PC gamers can get AC much cheaper than console gamers can.

The same argument could be had for people who wait a year to buy "complete editions". The players who enjoyed the game from day one and bought all the DLC aren't getting ripped off by the company selling the title with all DLC at a reduced cost a year later, just the same as PC owners aren't losing out from console owners getting all the current up to date content for the full price of the game.

Besides, I somehow doubt Kunos removed that content out of some desire to create fairness, or to not upset the PC crowd. They've done it in a blatant attempt to get as much cash out of the console crowd as possible.

A complete edition or GOTY if it ever comes out will be best option to buy, that's my plan right now after I can get a PS4 Neo. Still waiting to see how the updates/patches will do to the game.

Well it is still not removal of content though. Its not like PC version had these cars as standard.

if the RUF CTR or F40 is remove from PS4 version and on sale with a new dlc name. i would call that removal of content dlc
