I have been noticing more people of a younger age online. I'm guessing around middle school age? Mostly in Drift rooms. I don't care who or how old you are, i just like some form of decorum, that's all. I see online gaming the same as being outside in the public, everyone builds a reputation.

Because when you hit the later years of life eg. 17 or 18 you start to realise you have other priorities rather than do some drifting on GT5.

I agree most drifters in open rooms are around year 7 to year 10 age. Me for example, I'm in year 9

Kids Just Happen to Be the Unfortunate Side Effect of Online Gaming and you notice Most cant drift or drive Anyway? Despite Age?

Oh bugger!, do we have to? :P

Back on track; in general, I don't think I've ever been bothered by 'children' online. The people that DO tend to start being prats, are actually usually German. I've had a few rows with German idioten, who think ramming you in a Tank Car is funny.

Until that glorious moment...when YOU become host. :D

A-hem... 32 years here. The issue is that adult people have more issues related to real life enviroment. Also, at least myself (but i believe that it happens to more people in similar profiles), i only get out of my safe bunkers (aka private lobbies) when there are no option.

And "about that glorious moment...when YOU become host", when it happens to me, i dont know why, the kids runs away like roaches from sandal´s smashes, because the first thing i do is lock the room for CH and change Tsukuba to any custom track of mine.

The school kids are usually in those "drift or kick" sort of lobbies. If you're in a team you'll be in CH lobbies/lounges with your team mates and/or other teams, with mature people that actually know how to drift and have a genuine interest in it other than on GT5.

This.

King has spoken the words of truth! All hail king!... (See what I did there? ;D)

In all seriousness, I'm turning 18 soon and I've noticed this... shall we say rather mini-apocalypse of "under-the-age" drivers. :P

haha i never said they could actually drift XD

Basically, if i hear anyone say, "Hey.. you wanna join my clan?" i immediately leave the room.

I have started to only drift in my lounge with friends also, but sometime i like to drop in on rooms that say they are making a team, just to see if they are going to be any good. And also if you only drift your lounge how will you meet more people to drift with?

yes I have run into some of these guys. Their mic usually sounds like a piston going through the block. They are usually professional drifters and can teach me a thing or two with their massive experience span of 2 days. They also come to rooms named "CH ONLY" and ask for the restriction to be turned off right? Yes yes.

You know, we all use to be 10 - 13 years old, and I think I can say we were all noobs. We should not disapprove the little kids but rather embrace those kids, you never know when they will take real interest into what we love doing, that is drifting.
