Yes it is! I have played both PS2 and the PS3 version. The PS3 version is a heck of alot better than the PS2 version. They have 60 cars in the game to start with (you still have to unlock them though) and then I think it goes up to 72 when you include DLC.;) Graphics of course are much better and when it comes to customizing such as moving vinyls and autosculpting, it is much faster and easier.;) There is a dramatic difference on the PS3 version. If you like Prostreet, I strongly recommend the PS3 version to you.;)

Okay, then. I'm gonna get it for PS3 once I get some more money. I already found a copy for cheap.

Still playing it on Xbox360 sometime. I really like the whole concept of ProStreet, but it's a shame that the implementation and physics are pretty bad...

In my personal opinion NFS to me died with Pro Street, none of the games after captured my attention like Underground-Carbon. I never played the original NFS' so I can't talk about them.

I just bought NFS pro street for PS3 and i was wondering if anyone knows what the 2 patches do ver 1.40 is first 722mb takes forever to download

I know one of them is for DLC, not sure about the other.

I downloaded both patches first then after finishing battlemachine I bought 2 cars from PS store '67 Shelby GT500 and Camaro Concept and for some reason the '67 Shelby GT500 was still locked but the Camaro Concept was unlocked. So I redownloaded the '67 Shelby GT500 from my download list and still the same problem  I deleted game data then my save didn't work so updating game again :mad:1.99 waisted on that car:banghead:

1. The save won't work on older versions of the game. Reupdate for it to work again.
2. Why waste REAL money on a car you can easily unlock in about 4 hours?
3. Just get the SEAT. It can utterly destroy every single car in the game for GRIP races.

I tried to update my blueprint on my Camaro Concept and it froze:( it happen twice  I googled NFS Pro Street freezing PS3 and found alot of info Is the 2 patches the problem?

The game usually freezes if you spend awhile customizing a car so do somethings & save then go back to modding. Rinse repeat. If you spend like 20-30 minutes straight customizing a car.

Online is gone? Awww.
Oh well, I freaking loved it on PS2 & when I borrowed my cousins copy of NFS Pro Street I was like WHOA!
Im going to start looking for a copy of this game for cheap.
Also one of the patches fixed the UNLOCKALLTHINGS or something cheat cause people abused it.

I can't buy any of the DLC because I have the wrong disc number, or whatever it is. I think I have something with 175, and the DLC needs 176 or something. And the only reason why I bought this game for PS3, was because of the DLC. 🤬
And I already have it for PS2.

After 3 years today I finally found an used copy of this game available on GAME in my country, I was supposed to buy the game until I found the other game that I was also looking for: Grid.
