Anyone running 1080i on a sxrd rptv?

Im having a hard time trying to get gt4 to run at 1080i on my 60" 1080p sxrd tv, no matter what i do the screen is either shifted to the bottom left and runs at 480i or its a fuzzy mess when i choose 1080i. 1080i works fine on my pioneer plasma, but for some reason i cant get it to work on my sxrd tv. Im using component cables and the component inputs are clearly labelled 1080i/720p/480p/480i.
