So....Bush cheated twice. That really doesn't surprise me. Especially after what he pulled with his initial election and the "miscount" in Florida where his brother just happened to be governor. Bush was VERY manipulative and he went to extreme lengths and lied so much to get what he wanted, that manipulating the threat level just isn't surprising.

I can say that i have never really believed the official NIST story.
Everything that day was just so weird and off the wall.
Then add the quote of what Bin Laden himself said right after 9/11.
He basically denied him having done it but said this was done by people of own interests..
Then a year later the goverment releases a tape in which you cant hear anything which they claimed Bin Laden confessed.
Another thing about 9/11 that is pretty astonishing considering how lucky mr Silverstein was.
Few weeks before 9/11 he signs an insurance against terror attacks.
One day he, his daughter and his son was supposed to be at work but none of them ever showed up that day. That day was 9/11.
During several years of being in court Silverstein has now collected Billions of dollars from the 9/11 attacks.
Luckiest man alive? I DOUBT IT.
For anyone that feels it sounds to outlandish for a goverment to even do this type of operation, search for Operation Northwoods. a de-classified document signed by a military official that the goverment would stage terror attacks against the american people in order to go to war with Cuba.

Another thing i think is also connected to all this is Bin Laden´s death.
If you compare Saddam, Gaddafi and Bin Laden two of the stories were pretty similar.
2003, March, The US set out to find Saddam.
2003, December, They found him in a hole in the ground.
2011, February, Protests starts and there´s a hunt for Gaddafi.
2011, October, Gaddafi was found in a concrete hole in a wall.
1998, Bin Laden is put on FBI´s list "Ten Most Wanted Fugitives"
2001, Bin Laden becomes the target for "The War On Terror"
(He was not wanted for the 9/11 attacks, i checked this myself on FBI´s homepage before he died)
2011, Obama makes a statement that the US Goverment has indeed killed Bin Laden.
12+ years was he on the move not hiding in a hole in the ground or a concrete hole in the wall but instead he had his own house right next to a Pakistan Military Base.
Saddam - Was taken alive and made many checks that it was indeed Saddam they have captured.
He was later hanged by the Iraqis which there is video tape of.
Gaddafi - Was taken alive, beaten up then shot in the head and stomach, the last shot was the killing shot from what i´ve read. His body was layed out for everyone to see for days to confirm for the people who lived there that it indeed was Gaddafi they had killed.
Bin Laden - Was not taken alive. Body was disposed of within 24 hours. Picture shows up in magazines is being confirmed as a fake. US Goverment claimed they did DNA tests to prove it was him. Nobody except this special force and some sort of commitee in the White House knows the full story to this.

It´s pretty ironic how a person that is much higher ranked on the FBI list is shown the most respect and disposed of very quickly despite causing many lives to be lost.
My theory is that Bin Laden was in house-arrest waiting for the right time to get killed.
Obama´s popularity has gone down since the beginning and what better way to spring life in his followers then to say you have killed the man that was on every man´s lips for atleast 10 years.
Afterall, there´s an election next year..

I agree 100%, that´s why i took this route. People have a tendency to put a Conspiracy stamp on your forehead without actually listening or doing some minor investigations themselves.
And then we come the fear-part. People rather stick their head in the sand then react.

There was at the time, here in the Netherlands, a Dutch reporter who was questioned about politics in the US, and he was very clear about it that it was common practice to use this kind of (mis)information to alter the polls.
And with some common sense, without making a conspiracy of it, it's logical that it happens.
