Does the day to night to day transition happen in normal time and gradually so it's not very noticeable or does it happen in the blink of an eye so it's very noticeable?

Also, does it always rain at the start of the race or is that random?

I just finished Le Mans B-Spec.
From the start there was 8 hrs of rain.
The race started in the afternoon, and rain ended about 2 hours before dawn.
The rest of the race was dry and sunny.
Night racing was pretty cool.

Do you have to push your Bob very hard..?Because i don't like to push my buttons all the time.Maybe you can come up 1st quick and than layback..How did you do it..?grtz Pzer0 :sly:

That's awesome. So did you have 2 sets of rain as 8 hours of it would take you to midnight?

Did anyones FAT PS3 overheated during the 24 hour endurance races?

i have a fat ps3 and i have run him for a week nonstop.
then turn it off for a 10 hours and then i have let him drive the 24h of lemans.
no problems here so far.

I have a fat ps3. Haven't done the 24hr races yet, but I had it running two days straight on the weekend while bob ran endurance races. No problem so far.

Finished LeMans 24hr with a fatty. It was one for a good 12hrs before that race and on for another 10+ after the race.

No issues. And as mentioned, the time change transitions are gradual and pretty sweet.

I didn't have to instruct my 3 bobs once and they won by 6 laps over the next guy. They also used every type of tire I had.

6 laps is a very realistic distance to win Le Mans by! I'm impressed. Which car did you use and which cars were you racing against?

I'm lazy, and a bit upset that I've run so many races, for so few points.
So I use the X1 for every B-Spec race, as I have no intention of using it in
A Spec.
As I've discussed, AI will select the wrong tire just about every time.
Wanted to go to hard slicks while still raining.
When I switched back to rains, the driver wanted to pit.
Same thing when I switched to intermediates.
With the X1, pits were every 9 laps.
My Bobs finished 125 laps ahead of 2nd

8 hours of rain is going to suck in A-spec.

Night time looks TERRIBLE on my TV. That's going to suck also. I am so not looking forward to this in A-spec.

So I have to drive ALL 24 hours?

Afraid so. You can't even save the game, so the PS3 has to be turned on untill you've done all the hours. Just imagine a lightning storm or losing power when you've had the system on for a week..

What were they thinking making the game unplayable like this? It just reaks of poor game design and unfinished product.

I agree... I started a 4 hour enduro @ the burg the other day during a storm... Lost power.

Looks like I'm going to do 6, 4 hour stints over 2 days. The 24 hours at the burg will kill me.
