Appalling cars single make race series

I was just wondering how much interest there might be in a single make race series focussed on truly dreadful cars in GT6. There's a certain ironic comedy value in this I think!!

I propose the Nissan Bluebird 1600 Deluxe 1969 unmodified with no driver aids for the first race - it's a car everyone can afford and its lack of power should make for some very closely contested racing where overtaking is even more difficult due to being so down on power...

I'm just curious how much interest there might be in something like this??

Winner could nominate an awful car for the next race?

Shame there's no BL stuff - a race between Maxis, Allegro's or even Marina's would be brilliant but Citroen do have their share of stinkers in the game as do other makes...

I like the idea, it's just difficult for me to commit to online races sometimes. Some British Leyland cars would be amazing though!

Not sure about the 'awful' cars, but if you want some decent, low power/PP racing then Watermelonpunch runs some great races, you might want to put your name down for a race and check it out.

We do 1 make enduro races (2 45 minute races) in turtle racing league, just click on enduro series below which will bring you to the thread. The one make is spec as well

I was considering something very similar. Something like the derby race that took place in the 3rd episode of the American GTAcademy. Super cheap, crap cars in a "rubbing is racing" sprint race. I would make a great series I think.

IIRC, in gt5, I stayed away from the bluebird because unmodified, it hits the limiter on a lot of tracks.

Keep your peepers out, I'm planning races like these:

a reprise of my nostalgia Cubes @ Ovals event
an event involving the Citroen 2CV

Also, the Mixer Makeshift Shuffle racing is now running some truly awful cars... The Commuter Car list. We've been having loads of fun racing those awful cars. They're commuter cars. And they're all pretty awful in their own ways. :lol:

(The PT Loser & the Megane 03 are in the Commuter List... need I say more? :sly:
