Okay... I don't intend in any way to start a whole conglomeration about this on the forum, rather it's just a simple question..
I remember sometime late last year about the E-book price hikes regarding Apple and a few publishers. I also remember something about possible payouts for those who did purchase E-books regarding a few criteria..
Well the "remind me" didn't last when I got home so It's been almost a year since that popped up. Today I received some bogus looking spam E-mail regarding this and I have done some (some, not a lot) looking and it still looks fake. One site looks to be an exact replica of the other but with different wording, so I basically stopped after that.
I purchased : "Shooter: The Autobiography of the Top-Ranked Marine Sniper" and it falls under the criteria to be met for a payout ( I actually went to the library one day and read it over the weekend, and liked it so much so that I purchased the E-book).
Has anyone else even bothered to mess with this if it has occurred to you?
(If it's three bucks and some cents I get back that's fine... I don't expect full price for something that doesn't exist in the first place..)
