As we have a second content update purportedly incoming at the end of March, we have a good opportunity to crack the Daily Workout code. Two content updates in the space of three weeks means we will likely have a pretty decent gap before the next one, and a good long run without any changes to the game that could affect things.
With that in mind, I'd like everyone who possibly can to log every Daily Workout car they receive across April 2019. With enough people participating, we should be able to see any patterns that emerge and finally lay the beast to rest. Well, for the most part, as I fear that it's actually a vast number string, but I digress.
There are three rules:
1. Create one post in this thread. Edit that post each day to add your next car.
2. You must do your workout and receive a car every day for as long as you can. Preferably to April 30th.
3. If you make a post in this thread it is for logging your Daily Workout only. I don't care if you think it's random*, or this is useless**, or there's something else at play***, and I don't want to hear from you, because that's not what this thread is for.
4. DO NOT switch between Playstations for the duration of this. If you switch Playstations, stop logging your cars at the point you switch.
The second point is important. If you skip a day, you may add an unknown quantity (perhaps it's blind to skipping days, perhaps not) and make all of your data unusable (for now; if we can establish that there is a pattern, we can look at that later). If life gets in the way, as it does, and you miss a day, simply put a note in your post and stop logging the cars.
Edit: The late-March update should bring the Circuit Experience for Autopolis, and that will add another roulette. From what I've seen so far, other roulettes (CE, Missions, Licences) do not affect the Daily Workout roulette but it may. If you do the Circuit Experience before, or after, your April cars, that's fine, but if you do it during April please make an additional entry for that day and clearly mark it as the CE car.
Edit edit: At this point we're not complicating matters with exactly how you achieved your mileage. If you wish to record that, please feel free to but do not put it in this thread. It may become relevant if we do not find a pattern in this first stage.
Edit edit edit: If you can remember it (or you haven't sold it; sort your garage by Date Acquired - it'll be last) please also note your starter car and your number of days logged in (from Achievements) on April 1 only.
You absolutely can use multiple PSN accounts if you want (and indeed this will be incredibly helpful) - I don't mind if these are in the same post or in their own posts, so long as it's clear.
And yes, we're still nearly two weeks away, but preparedness never killed anyone.
*It's almost certainly not.
**It's likely that it will be
***Possible, but that's what we're here to try to find out...
