Aproxomate Relese Date?

Ok so. It's been a while since I've been active on GTP and I'm super sick and in the hospital again. Yay me. But I have a serious question to ask for all of you who may have some insider info.

When should we expect to see GT6 launched? And do you think it will be a PS4 foundation game. As in wait for ps4 to release and possible offer a bundel type of thing?

I'm sure this has been asked already but I don't have no where near the energy to search for it.

Anyways. A big thanks to anyone who replies.

Ok. Cool. Much thanks brother. I have looked online for ps4 leaked info on dates but Sony is keeping a tight lid on info. And I've re read all of what Kazunori Yamauchi has said and reading between the lines I feel like it will be a foundation game.

By foundation game I mean. When they say oh ps4 will be released on blah blah date then immediately after that PD says oh gt6 will be available on that se release date type of thing. Or Sony and PD do a Bundle launch. Special ps4 color or something.

No insider info, just an educated guess. I'm expecting April-May-June 2014 for many reasons. Q4 2014 is too late. Its verly likely they'll announce it at E3 this year. They cant do that then say they'll release it 18 months later. An April release will help spark sells once the initial rush cools off. It will also be close to the EU PS4 launch if the delays are true.

Where've you been reading that? Almost every rumor now is saying Q4 2013. The Feb 20th reveal definitely makes that seem realistic.

If they push it back into 2014 it will be as painful as the new release date for GTA V...

But since Assetto Corsa and Forza 5 are out for sure THIS year, I can wait. But for the racers that solely rely on Gran Turismo, it would not be acceptable.

PD should definetly go for shorter release cycles and not try to squeeze every idea in one release. Just look at GT5: Prologue how well it was put together as a game and the features worked. Just because they set a limited of what they wanted to implement.

If the rumours are right and Sony will release the PS4 in Asia and America in 2013 and in Europe in 2014 they will lose a lot of racing customers. Many already went the Forza or pc sim-route and when a shiny Forza 5 sits on the shelves, many wont wait for half a year for GT6.

Definitely not. Atleast not for the 360. They've said they've already hit the limit on 360, so they can't do much graphically. So it may look identical to FM4 with new cars and many won't like that. Plus I'd expect them to let Horizon have a little more life time. I'd be shocked if they release for 360. :/

OT: I say 2014. Maybe they'll start revealing new info after the PS4 is announced. It'd be a little ridiculous if we have to wait until 2015-16.

Well I don't think he meant on the 360, he meant on the next Xbox but it's still just an assumption it would come in 2013 if the console also does.

We might get a better idea of when GT6's release date is, at the #PlaystationMeetin2013 in 15 days, I've heard a decent number of rumors that Kaz and PD might be there. Then again, he said earlier that he would remain more tightly lipped about this game's release.. (Again, not stating it as fact)

Turn 10 said it while they showed Horizon. They said that in 2013 there will be a full Forza Motorsport (5). And yes it will probably come with the next xbox.

But that was just about my point that I can wait for GT6. I really hope that it will come out as soon as FM5, but nobody knows for sure.

FM and GT delivery very different experiences. Both have their up and downs, but I love driving and racing, so I will buy both.

With Sony revealing the PS4 so early this month, I doubt that they will release the console in 2014. And I hope that GT6 isnt so far away too and maybe it will blow our hats away...

But it is Sony and what we saw in the past from them, that you can predict that they blow it again.

Iam a Project CARS full member, and from what i have seen so far i would not hold your breath on P cars, it honestly looks great and plays well but they have what a friend of mine dubbed as "kaz" syndrome, and hes right, they have too many ideas that sound great but will push the release date back and back, and its no where near finished as it is.

and GTR3 seems to simply be off the map at the moment

If GT6 releases with the PS4 sometime this year they might beat quite a few of the race sims that are meant to be due.
