Arab Drifting?

Arab drifting (or manji as i prefer to call it), is sometimes used to keep the car in the state of 'out of traction' (No grip on the rear wheels) on a straight. Also in GT5, you will see people in drift lobbies do it online as well :)

If you are referring to the spinning, the guy is doing in the beginning of the video, i only tried to do it and link drifts into the next corner... (so far i managed to do a 720).

There are no teams, or what so ever that made this their primary goal i reckon, so there is no active group of 'Arab' drifters on here.

Trying WAY WAY WAY too hard to have fun with a FWD car and a completely straight strip of asphalt. IMHO more fun could be had with mcdonalds trays and an empty parking lot.

Arab drift is not the same as manji (at all).
Arab drift is performed on FWD cars so the car is not out of traction. It generally consist of bored stupi arab men taking japanese econoboxes on the highway and throwing random ass dragging style (not real drift) risking their useless lives and those of others people.
Eventually it'll end up by a fun to watch crash, arab men running from all sides, and with a bit of luck some dies during the process (which means less danger for normal people on the road).

^^^ Well said. There's already quite a few videos about of some pretty horrific crashes, one involving a child IIRC. It's what happens when you let the upper classes have more power than the dodgy police force.

The only Arab drifting I'm interested in is what the JDM Allstars lot did before Christmas and what the Formula Drift lot are doing at Yas Marina now.

Back straight of the top gear test track, hammerhead to Bacharach, long and wide, can try most things on this part of the track.

lol.

Didn't want to say it, but yeah.

Its best to use top gear track's long straight, up and down that... Ruf's are pretty goood to handle on that..

Start from the end, put 200 kmh in the clock and strafe on, from one side to another of the track, closing to the end, put 5 spins in the straight, strafe back and HANDBRAKE.

Boom, pretty interesting.

in this video they are Saudis from Saudi Arabia .. we are drifting in GT5 you can check any one with this FLAG
