From Carscoops:
It might not be a match for the AF10 hybrid hypercar, with its impressive 2,080 HP, but the AF8 Cassini is still an interesting appearance on the Geneva auto show's floor.
Called a "supercar" in a segment where McLaren refers to the 570S as a "sports car", the AF8 draws its mojo from a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine made by General Motors, with 560 HP at 7,500rpm and 645 Nm (476lb-ft) of torque, available at 6,000 rpm.
Power is sent to the rear axle through a 6-speed manual gearbox, that allows for a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) sprint made in less than 3.5 seconds and a top speed of over 196 mph (315 km/h). Stopping Arash's tamed machine is a braking system with 380 mm discs at front and 362 mm at the rear, with 6 and 4 pistons, respectively.
The vehicle is 4.15 m long, 1,9 m wide and 1.1 m tall, weighing just 1,200 kg (2645 lbs), thanks to the use of carbon fiber body panels. Arash claims that the luggage capacity is 42 liters while the fuel tank can squeeze in 70 liters.
Some of the features found in the AF8 Cassini include bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights, titanium exhaust system with by-pass valves, heated windscreen, air conditioning and touchscreen multimedia system, all available for £168,000 ($233,000 equivalent), in the UK.
