Arcade Mode Completion?

What do you have to do to complete the GT2 arcade mode and see the ending movie? Because I have finished on every race in 1st place on the hardest difficulty level, and I've done a time trial on every track as well (including the rallies) and I've got all my liscences on GT mode, so all the tracks are unlocked. So what else do i have to do to complete the arcade disc? Do I need to finish 1st in every reverse race as well? Or do I need to do the races in different car classes? Thanks for any help you can give me :)

Long time since i did the arcade... but i think you just need to win on reversed tracks too, time trial doesn't matter.
I remember there's a place on the arcade disc where you can see what races you still have to win and which ones you already won... :rolleyes:

Yeah, you gotta do them all in reverse--Professional mode or whatever the most difficult one is. If you're in a hurry, you can even go into the Options menu and make each race a 1-lap deal...then just enter a super fast car. there's no money involved in these races so personally i don't take them all that seriously.

I didn't think there was any money involved in any of the arcade races, or is that what you meant.

I've just completed all the races in reverse now but it still won't let me see the ending movie. I won all the races on an A class car so the only thing i can think of why i can't see the movie is possibly because you have to do it in an S class car? This is the only thing i can think of that i havent done. So does anyone know wether that is the case or not? or have any suggestions as to why i cant see the ending movie? much appreciated :)

Yeah, you have to Race in an S class car, too. You don't nessesarily have to run all of tracks, but what you are required to do is win three races on three different tracks, both in foward and reverse.

No, there's no money involved on the arcade disc. Just prize cars that you unlock.

I've just done that as well, and still no ending movie unlocked! Is there anything else to do in arcade mode that might unlock it or should I just accept defeat and give up?

Question: Have you obtained an S license on the Sim disc? Once you do this and save it (in sim mode) try switching to Arcade. this will give you some tracks you may not have unlocked yet.

I just got back from a trip to GameFaqs.com and here's what I found from one of the walkthrus there.

Some tips to help you beat the Arcade Disc:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Get all the Licenses in Sim Mode to open up all the tracks in Arcade Mode.
- Beat each track on Normal difficulty to win a car for each type of car (A, B,
C)
- Use your best car from Simulation Mode to win the races in Arcade Mode. To do this, load your guest garage and load your car. This make's the Arcade mode SO much easier if you have a great car that's powerful. :)
Not exactly complete advice, but I'll keep looking.
Thanks for that, il give it a go!
I just did the Arcade mode in a new game i've started. All i did was to win all races (1 lap races) with a race modded car from my sim mode garage (always same car, in all races) on hard level. I did this after getting the S license (needed to unlock all tracks).
So, you don't need to race on all difficulty levels, car classes doesn't matter, and time trial/reversed tracks doesn't matter either.
