arcade mode??

heey guys im from holland and i ordered gt3 for the ps2

now i have a quistion when i get started and i do arcade mode
is there anyway i can drift with a car in arcade mode cause i just cant wait to drift on gt3

hope you can help me greetz whoopy:idea:

As far as I can remember, yes you can. Just remember not to select TCS/ASM at all, otherwise your car won't drift.

After you have selected the car to drive, a screen should pop up with three options, like TSC/ASM. One of them is off, but I can't remember what it looks like. It's obvious though.

Edit: Apologies - I was thinking of GT4. Select the car, choose whether you want to drive in manual or automatic, THEN it gives an option to "Racing" or "Drift". Pretty self-explanatory. ;)

In GT3 you can also buy a car in sim mode, soup it up a bit, then use it in arcade mode 👍 I don't think we can do this in GT4 anymore :( i think you're just stuck with arcade cars 👎

and yet i have another quistion

if i choose drift in arcade mode will that really make me drift or just a bit grip loss

I don't know. I always race my own customized sim cars in arcade. Keichi seems to indicate that your answer is yes. Sort of.

so i can use my own car in arcade mode??

pretty cool

Yeah. You basically are given a choice to use cars from your sim garage in 2-player or arcade races. To tune them, you have to go into the "Free Run" area, though; can't just enter a race and tune which kinda sucks because you spend a bit of time going between Free Run and Single Race or 2-player if you're not happy with your setup.
