Hi guys I tried to find this but I could not...so are the cockpits for ALL CARS confirmed?

I know that the damages werer confirmed to every single car...

Thanks!:sly:

I don´t think so... But Kaz wouldn´t do half things so I think all cars will have cockpit (Concept cars wouldn´t)

It is only confirmed for 170 cars to have a full cockpit view. I'm suspecting a generic cockpit view for the remaining cars, maybe one for each manufacturer, just so those who like using the cockpit view are restricted to a small number of cars.

Or they could black the cockpit out like in GTPSP, but that would be poor form for a game like GT5.

Or they could be modelling the other 800 or so car cockpits right now...

That's not even confirmed. We don't know what was meant by "premium" and "standard" cars. I assume we'll get cockpits for all cars, except for perhaps concept cars which don't even have interiors.

ill be a little bit annoyed if all the cars didn't have a cockpit view.

i wouldn't be bothered if the ford gt '05 and the ford gt '06 interior looked the same if you know what i mean.

I really do hope all cars have cockpit camera with details in full, would seem awkward if one car lets say a Spoon has a Spoon Odometer and interior camera view while your Zonda has a generic cockpit camera the very same in your Peugeot 206 or no cockpit view at all?!?

I am pretty sure that this is what we will end up with:

All cars have cockpit view (ie camear can go inside the cabin)

All cars will have cockpits modeled (ie they will have guages and dials and what not appropraite for that car)

At this point I believe the 170 cars will have interior mechanical components modeld (ie engines, maybe inside the truck... stuff that you will see when body parts fall off, this being because when the body parts fall of, they don't want you seeing empty engine bays or unmodeled parts.

These 170 cars will be the racecars.

That's all gathered from little bits and pieces of a bunch of interviews and common sense on what kinds of things go together, what makes sense coding wise and what would look good.

That's my best guess.

I would image all cars have cockpit views. It makes logical sense: damage was only implemented recently, and it only took 2 months. Therefore, what could have PD been doing the last 5 years? Remodeling cars+tracks and working on online play.

Its a shame how no interviewer at TGS asked Kaz some of the fundamental questions which haven't been confirmed yet.

It really looks strange, if GT5 will have cock pit in this way, i will be really dissapointed.
But it's very unlike, all cars will have cock pit fully modeled, excpet concept cars, just like GT5P. I'm prety sure.

I'd say yes, as the "premium cars" in the list said would have external damage.. And as we know that both the Ferrari and Mercedes don't have external damage, but do have an interior, I'm pretty sure they've modeled every interior.

I assume all cars will have fully detailed cockpit. This game has been in development for a long time, and it's just not like PD not to include it in every car.

I would think every car would have cockpit view, unless it's a special circumstance like the GT-R Prototype.

I find it very hard to digest some cars not having cockpit view, did all cars in prologue have cockpit view? If so that pretty much answers the question.

I believe this to be true,at the very worst case

Only car I remember not having Cockpit is the GT-R Proto, and that's understandable.
