Are there any other pedals compatible with the DFP steering wheel?

So after owning a DFP for over 4 years and constantly trying to fix the potentiometers I think I have finally screwed them up beyond repair. Is it possible to buy another wheel set and take those pedals and hook them up to my DFP for use? Thanks in advance.

I was thinking more along the lines of a cheap but reliable set. I checked their website and couldn't find a listed price, but those pedals look pretty expensive :guilty:. Would something like the regular Driving Force pedals work?

I have just had the same problem of needing new pedals to replace the DFP ones. I Did some research and found the Driving force ex pedals have the same Gameport connector so i purchased the set of ebay. However, although the plug is the same, the pedals didnt work with DFP wheel but i found a fix. I found the wiring diagram for the DFP https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=49890&d=1106265150
and with this info, i just got a male and female gameport connectors from Maplin and some burglar alarm wire (7 core) and built a convesion connector to swap the connections round. You will need to refer to the inside of the new EX pedals to compare connections to the DFP wiring diagram. Also when tested the throttle was found to be wired the opposite way round so just removed the throttle plug from the EX potentiometer and turned it 180 degrees and plugged it back in. Works great now and all in it cost £10 for parts and used EX wheel/pedals. EX pots seem to have less range than original DFP but i dont find this much of an issue as it works a treat. Hope that helps.

Also, i had to remove the pins 1 and 5 from the new female connector for it to fit into the DFP socket correctly. Just heat them with soldering iron and pull them through to remove.

Logitech Black Momo pedals plug straight in and are working fine. I know cause I'm using my DFP pedals on the Momo cause the Momo pedals broke a couple of months ago. But yeah try to get the Revision 2 version because Revision 1 are the pedals with the ****** potmeters. Both my DFP and Momo pedals are Rev. 1 ones but when they break up I'll get better pedals.

^How can I find out which revision the pedals are before I buy them? I see a real good deal on a Momo right now and I'm thinking about getting it but I don't want to pay for the same problems

There are many compatible pedals with DFP for PC. But it would have to be seperate USB unit. Do not think it would work with GT games

Unless you mod the cable. That could work with any pedals.. or mod the pedals themselves.

Or just simply get a better wheel.

i have a question for you guys... do you know if the DFP, DFGT, & the G25 have any parts that may be compatible in any way? im trying to mod an external ebrake for my DFGT but it seems like its only possible to do it on the G25 wheel...... if you guys know anything about compatibility between the wheels please let me know... thanks in advance!!
