Are there any similarities between the 8.4 V10 of the 2013-2017 Dodge Viper and any of the Dodge V8s

Like do they share engine parts or is the Viper V10 block related to the block of one of the hemis or something like that? Or is the Viper V10 not in any way related to any of the Dodge V8s?

Yes, it's based on the LA engine - more specifically the 5.9L Magnum from the Ram. However, Lamborghini changed the block around just a bit when it was first made in 1992.

Yep by making it aluminium. And didn’t they stroke and bore the block as well?

According to Wikipedia, no.

The Viper V10 is based on the Chrysler LA engine family, and appeared with the Dodge Viper in 1992. It was conceived and prototyped as a Magnum 5.9 with two extra cylinders and a longer stroke of 3.88 in (99 mm).

Lamborghini engineers revamped Dodge's cast-iron block V10 for the Viper by recasting the block and heads in aluminum alloy Prototype blocks were cast by Lamborghini, at the time a Chrysler division.

The first-generation Viper V10 engine had a displacement of 8.0 L (488 cu in) and produced 400 hp (300 kW) and 465 lb⋅ft (630 N⋅m).

With a 4.00-inch bore as standard, the 3.88-inch (up from 3.58 in the 5.9) stroke accounts for every bit of its advertised displacement.

Nothing from the LA engine went into viper, the Lamborghini cast block was recasted from iron to aluminum this meant a completely new configuration and construction since the two materials are so different, Lamborghini made most of the block and duel TB intake manifold that crowns it, looks just like Diablo if you’ve ever owned one, I have them both, my94 rt10 is the same motor as my Diablo just has less intake valves and less aggressive LSA on the camshaft, stop telling people it’s a truck engine, Dick Winkles has denounced this myth several times, now a viper engine did go into a truck and it was called the viper truck back in the early 2000s and late 90s.

It's a very Musk move to join a forum to talk about yourself under the guise of setting the record straight (and then not even doing that correctly).
