Behold! The Scottish sports car!

The GT was created in the 70's by a Mini and turbo specialist named Bob Henderson. The original was conceived with a Rover V8, and a V8 production version was planned, but only an Alpine spec V6 was used in the actual purchasable version that debuted in 1983. The V8 version was claimed to be capable of 160 mph, though this was never proven, and it is unclear how many we're actually sold, or how fast they really were. With a price that equalled a typical Ferrari of the time however, it is unlikely that there were many purchased.

Overall, the Argyll Turbo GT may be an ugly, obscure and unsuccessful sports car, but it would at least allow Scotland to be represented on GranTurismo...

Never seen a car company go to a sturgeon for styling tips...

Oh, sturgeon. For a moment I thought you said surgeon - since it's in need of a bit of a facelift.

Sturgeons, sharks and catfish. It all seems a bit fishy to me.
