Ariel and its American partner TMI Autotech have put together a more powerful version of the Atom 3, called Atom 3S.
Along with the extra power, the 3S also “debuts features never before seen on the Ariel Atom 3 platform,” live five-way-adjustable traction control and the new extra radiators that are located on pods mounted on the side.
The engine is the same 2.4-liter Honda-derived unit used in the Atom 3, with the difference that in the 3S it gains a turbocharger. This lowers the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time to 2.8 seconds and promises a quarter mile sprint time of around 10.7 seconds.
