Depending on source, somewhere between three and eight Arnolt Aston Martins were produced. They were the brainchild of European car importer W.H. "Wacky" Arnolt of the USA and featured a 2,992cc straight six Aston Martin Vantage engine producing 140bhp, in an Aston Martin DB2/4 chassis, clothed in a Bertone body styled by Franco Scaglione.

David Brown, the owner of Aston Martin was not happy about the car and Arnolt soon switched to producing a very similar looking car featuring the 1,971cc straight six Bristol engine with a Bristol chassis - approximately 150 Arnolt Bristols were produced and this car has already been suggested on GT Planet.

For 1954 the Arnolt Aston Martin was a very fast car and with it's classic Italian styling it had the looks to match its speed.

..........Super. Liked it!!
I've seen wider tyres on a bicycle but imagine the fun handling on this thing! Oh and the grill looks like an afterthought.
