Does really nobody watch Arrow around here??

It is really good. Not high schoolbased(thank god).

I also is a alternate story. And the origin story is nicely embedded and is way better than the comic one. Though lots of nods to the original comics (Speedy, Black Hawk Security, Fawyers, Deathstroke, the Count...

Acting is goodish, fighting scene are good. Plots are awesome. The one episode plot sometime is a bit flat but the overall arc of season 1 was awesome

And for the geeks in you, it has Barrowman in it.

Season 2 kicked off yesterday!

I watched season 1 and didn't think it was anything special.
For some reason I prefered the scenes on the island.

Don't think I'm going to watch season 2.

^The island scene were the pedigree that made the show for me. And Deathstoke. And the island arc continues in season 2. As it seems to be a year island for a season, this will go till season 5.
Actually, season 2 is way better than season 1. They are still finding their own vibe, which can take some time.

For the budget of such a show, I really think they got something running.

It hasn't the followship of Smallville, and is sometimes as chessy as SV. But it simply has something that keeps me coming back, looking for more Deathstoke, island, and bow action :D

Amell isn't a great actor but he fits the role. I actually don't know if he plays the role like that, or if he just isn't a stellar actor. Sometimes it feels as he is not in it.

Who saw s2*08. Mid-finale?

Man that needs to be the awesomest episode. The island scene were cruel. And Deathstroke Speedy^s BF :awesome: And the freaking ******* FLASH !!!

Eager to see the spin off of that 👍 Was a fan of the 90's show.

Shame no-one is watching this series as it really picked up towards the end of S2.

I will revive this to discuss the new season.

Ep301 has aired in the US this week.

My thoughts:

He is finally Green Arrow, complete with a uniform that is much closer to the comic version.

And they finally corrected the Starling City issue and renamed it Star City. It is very brief, but as Oliver and Felicity are going back to the city they pass a sign that says, "Welcome to Star City: Renamed in memory of Raymond Palmer."

H.I.V.E. and Damien Darhk are finally a main part of the show.

And in a lesser known pull from DC comic lore, H.I.V.E. steals weapons from Kord Industries, which in the comics is owned by one Ted Kord, AKA Blue Beetle.

Diggle is finally hiding his identity, which makes me wonder if he is now going by the name Freelancer, which was his codename while working with the Suicide Squad.

We now have Green Arrow, Red Arrow, Canary, and Diggle (Freelancer?). Will Arsenal ever return? Colton Haynes' contract expired at the end of Season 3, but if he ever returns the door is wide open for him to be written back into the story.

The ongoing debate will be the gravesite at the end with Barry. Having Barry there makes it seem like it should be Felicity, but I have doubts. Barry has developed a close enough of a relationship with them all to be welcome at any of their funerals. I am leaning more toward Captain Lance or possibly Sara, as she is supposed to return to become Black Canary for DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Sara could fake her death to run off and play new superhero in her spinoff show with the not-so-dead Ray Palmer.

Still nobody watching this series here?

Shame about
Laurel
dying like that.

is the show getting any better now? loved season 1 and 2 but didn't like season 3 and only watched a few of season 4 before i gave up on it

If you didnt like season 3 and 4 you probably wont like it now, it's on the same level really.

I still like the show a bit less than before maybe but it's still fun to watch.

Personnaly I never really liked Laurel super hero side, I liked her more when she had less involvement on the super hero side. So yeah not really missing her, I do miss Sarah tho, who's gone to the other serie.

Katie Cassidy came across very well in the flashbacks this episode. The writers have done a lot to rehabilitate the character, just as Candice Patton's character in The Flash is a lot more bearable now than in early episodes.

I'm expecting Laurel to keep showing up in flashbacks from now on, at least until the mystery of her dying words is revealed.

I hope that stops after this story arc. We went from island-era flashbacks to pre-island flashbacks and current-era stuff we just never saw on the show.

It's like watching Lost with superheroes.

Wow, Arrow went from not being affected at all to being majorly affected.

I'm guessing that Legends, being completely based around time travel will not see major changes because they are removed from the altered timeline. Changes to their characters in Flash and Arrow are explained via time remnants.

That said, Legends can't completely ignore Flashpoint either. I really want to see a Snart vs Snart insult fight.
