Penalty System
Drivers will be met with post race time penalties decided by review
the stewards, incidents that happen mid race, such as collisions,
can be reported to the stewards or moderators post race via
private message on PSN. note that incidents may still be
investiggated even if a report is not given. the stewards
PSN usernames can be found at the top of the thread.
The severity of the penalty may change depending on
the case.
Repeated corner cutting will result in a 5/10 second
post race time penalty, whether a in-game penalty
is given or not, if a player recieves 4 or more
in-game track limit penalties, their race will be
assesed for corner cutting and track limit abuse.
Once a decision has been made, a statement will be put in the "Review"
channel in the discord server, along with the reason and punishment for the
incident, if a driver wishes to dispute an incident, we ask that you do it
respectfully and in private.
below, there is a list of some of the penalisable offences:
Crossing the pit entry line on entry to the pit lane.
Crossing the pit exit line on exit of the pit lane.
Pushing another car off of the circuit.
Causing a deliberate collision.
Causing a accidental collision.
Re-joining the circuit in a dangerous manner.
Passing unstricken cars under yellow flags.
Blocking faster cars under blue flags.
This is only a shortlist of penalties.
The FIA Sporting code will also be considered by the stewards when reviewing a incident.
Below are some links that may help you understand what we expect from our drivers, and threads we refer to when reviewing incidents, and a link to another ARS forum which has more penalties listed.
