Art Morrison tuning

I tried, but assuming that this beast has what amounts to a slammed original 50-something vette suspension, it is no wonder it handles like it does. Those older vettes had crude suspensions, they weren't really a sports car at all.

(edit, it is 1960 - same thing applies!)

I saw one of these of 750Fuji at the weekend and decided to give it a whirl. It might not be fast enough to win but, with the new physics, it's a hella fun drive if you have your countersteering sorted out and you don't see a lot of them on the track.

Anyone have a setup for this beast yet?

I gave it a go, though I didn't create a tune for it. I think it can actually be competitive in the right hands if you stick R3-tyres on it.

^^ Agreed I tuned this up for a few races pre-update and found in the right category it goes OK. Could be worth a revisit on some sticky rubber. May not win but should hold its head up.

Well i tuned one, it laps just over 1:40 on Fuji usually around 1:41. More importantlyit hits 190mph on the straight without a slipstream, i can post it in my garage if you like.

Just finished up work on my NSXR ill post up now.

On second thoughts ill leave posting the ART tune for now, just doesnt seem like its up to standard or maybe its just me.

@ Dragonistic, quite interested in your set-up for the Art, been playing with one, only at Daytona though, great fun

1:40 is defo in the race, that's six secs faster than I got it. POST!

I'm struggling to hit 1:40.5 though, 1:40.7 is around my best bar the odd 'perfect' lap, its just so tempting to hit the gas and then the tyres spin up the tail comes out and unless you're on the ball the rear overtakes the front. You have to just tip-toe very very slowly through the bends then hit the straight and jam your foot to the floor zoom past everything then brake very very early and tip toe around the corner whilst everyone flies past under braking.
