ASM is confusing me..

How come I can easily steer with 5 UnderSteer ASM than I would with 0 Understeer. By theory, the ASM is suppose to restrict me from understeering, The stronger, the more resistant it is.. My god, what is wrong here? I do better with like 5 ASM while all u guys just use none..

It's just that you push the car too much and the ASM prevents you from flying off the track... it's natural that the car is easier to steer with the ASM on, but it also makes it slower providing the driver knows how to drive without it.

In short, now the computer is controlling the car for you by using brakes to slow down certain wheels. You feel you have complete control and you're going fast, but you're not totally in control and the car may be braking even if you have your foot firmly on the throttle.

Also, you probably don't want to use aids when drifting, as drifting is all about breaking the traction and the aids try to regain that said traction...
