This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
That open world map is going to need a strong CPU to begin with... start researching!Ok, who wants to help me pick a PC? I need this in my life.
Kunos put resources on this simple because it was one of the most popular mods in ac1, it will sell, the amount of depth kunos go here is just insane, specially even more so for a dev much smaller than turn 10, playground games or polyphony digital, not even those giants has killer features like those.I really just don't care about the open world stuff. It's bloody tiring that everything needs to have open world these days. As long as Kunos delivers on the track and cars departement I'll stop complaining but I find it a huge waiste of resources
So let modders do that kind of stuff. Again, I think it is a waiste of Time and ressources.Kunos put resources on this simple because it was one of the most popular mods in ac1, it will sell, the amount of depth kunos go here is just insane, specially even more so for a dev much smaller than turn 10, playground games or polyphony digital, not even those giants has killer features like those.
I much more excited for ac evo than i ever was for ac1, its the first sim racing title that could put some serious pressure on both gran turismo and forza,
None. And it should be none. Why would somebody feel the need to be that disrespectful and to undermine the company that is putting the work into bringing this to us and gave the best modding platform 10 years ago? Why would someone do that? What are the chances of modders getting into this and releasing mods of the Eifel area before Kunos does?
Mods are the #1 reason this is in the new game to begin with. The amount of open world maps in AC that are top quality is insane. Why not put that in the game so it actually gets full support and updates with patches? Why not try to expand your current player base?So let modders do that kind of stuff.
How do you know they didn't have a specific team just for this mode? The game has been in development for a while now. This is something that no other game has included. I'm glad they are setting the bar higher for some of these extremely lazy developers.I think it is a waiste of Time and ressources
IIRC it's already rumoured that it will not be the only open world location. If something open worldish should be attempted, it's the route of Mille Miglia and not the Eifel région. But hey, that's personal opinion and I know I am a minority hère
Very low, given that it will not support mods until after early access has finished. What are the chances of modders getting into this and releasing mods of the Eifel area before Kunos does?
Here's what you need.Ok, who wants to help me pick a PC? I need this in my life.
