Jarama is almost completely working but at the end of the straight the cars are twitching and some lose control
This much better version will hopefully be released soon. I suggest we all add comments of encouragement to the video.Bummer. I am from Madrid (Spain) and I would really like Jarama fully working.
If someone could post a link to the "free" to drive track, since it is free, as I have no intention to register myself into anything in relation to shady SImTraxx, remember their corporate mission: over promise under deliver.
I did it, in english and spanish languages. This much better version will hopefully be released soon. I suggest we all add comments of encouragement to the video.
@STdriver either you are new, first message here to defend Simtraxx, or you are involved somehow with Simtraxx, is ST short for Sim Traxx driver?
Either way, they have a long history of over promise and under deliver. Asking for money from people to have access to beta that either are never delivered or never finished, when in fact all they do is make modifications to already existing work from modders. Simtraxx is in for the money but does not offer much, beware and get involved at your own risk. This is my experience and my opinion.
You don’t have to take my word for it, just click on their link

You will see how they were promising laser scanned version of their track a year ago if you get involved in the yearly 30 Euro. Is it the same scam still or is there a new promise these days?

I love playing existing '2D' tracks in VR, it really breathes new life into old favourites. Forza, GT, NFS, and now Grid. I love the modding scene!Driving those in VR with proper physic and ffb is a lot of fun, thank you for the links.
Not to mentioned lots of people donated, and still haven't got anything in return. These two are just the tip of the iceberg.
Try to find one who didnt receive tracks longer than 24 hours after mentioning a problem with receiving tracks to sim traxx support.
Surely it wasnt You who donated, cause everybody knows You are not paying for anything you just keep telling urban legends about sim traxx.

You are doing what RTM is doing. When people found out you scam customers and can't profit on them anymore, you start spreading out across the web like cancer.

Formula Renault 3.5 2014 Season Updated to v1.2
A really great mod that needed to be updated, couldn't let this get parked... May still need some physics work though over all a really great mod. Would be great to see the original creators continue work on this one.

The mod features fifteen liveries, suits, gloves and helmets from 2014 season. Including current F1 drivers like Carlos Sainz Jr, who took a record seven victories during the year to finally take the title over his closest rival for much of that season, Roberto Merhi, who’s the second Spaniard in the field that took three wins on his return to single seater racing, after two years in the DTM Series.

@STdriver I think the mistake Sim Traxx made was taking on too many projects instead of finishing/refining a select few before moving on to the next one. For example, the Shelton Ridge track has great potential but remains in an unfinished state with minimal updates many many months after initial release. Sim Traxx's whole strategy seems based around the dangling carrot to entice subscribers, promising that updates will come when they rarely materialise in a timely fashion. It gets a little tiresome hearing insiders defend this tactic when the problem is either entirely of Sim Traxx's own making (ie taking on too much work without the necessary resources) or is a deliberate marketing ploy to maintain subscriptions.
There are many, many talented amateur track builders who release and regularly update work at least on a par with Kunos material (and often better) in their spare time and entirely for free, so there really are no excuses for a commercial business like Sim Traxx to perform so poorly. The monthly newsletters are full of promised updates 'next month' that simply do not happen. It's funny that you cite Audi and Real Madrid as satisfied customers and "over 30 finished projects for smaller and bigger private companies" because this just highlights exactly what a lot of subscribers to your newsletter seem to think, ie that they are being used to fund development of other projects that they will never get to use while the tracks they thought they were paying for remain in limbo. This isn't an uncommon view, so maybe Sim Traxx should try to actually change the modding scene's perception of them by actually making good on their promises.
Personally I think (with a couple of exceptions) that Sim Traxx tracks leave a lot to be desired compared to a lot of mod tracks in modelling, texture work and overall feel, and for me there's an over-emphasis on p2p, hill climb and rally tracks, none of which really interest me, but by far the biggest issue I have with the products is that seem to be taken into a semi-playable state and then shelved. You must surely understand how this can annoy your paying customers?
I'd also seriously question whether spending at least €50,000 laser scanning 35km of the Transfagarasan highway will ever be money well spent. Those funds could have been diverted into actually finishing the dozens of incomplete tracks on the current roster.
2019 is the time for ST to release all tracks for proper v1.0 finished state
