1. Each maker's GT3 are slightly different pace but you can use Content Manager custom grid to add restrictor and weight to balance them out.

2. Would be car.ini by default but if the car is encrypted you might not be able to.
that´s the reason I was using the TRR mods lately.
Not as good as the RSS cars, but bop´ed.

The Nissan R33 JGTC "Beta" is now available to everyone
because every day I find some new "bugs" or "holes" I can't keep the mod for myself, and yes I want everyone to test it(because I like the compliments:))
I release the beta version for everyone on my Patreon for free for now then it will be available in the Gtplanet too
go to my Patreon to download the mod and read the description OR if for some reason you can't go to the Patreon
Download the car here Gdrive link

In TRR, some cars have strange physics, for example, the Porsche 992 simply cannot turn at high speed, i rearranged the aerodynamics from the older version (2.3) and it solved the problem, but all this takes a lot of time, i would like to use ready-made solutions.

Hurray, finally this day has come, I came home from work, opened the site and then saw this masterpiece and immediately remembered the days when I drove it in Gran Turismo 2

Thank you so much for this wonderful mod

The things you find... So many unfinished mods and skins I forget about them lol

Totally obsolete with RSS's version though, even if these are separate models (PC2 base, thanks JK!)

RSS version?

Tomsim's been releasing some 2010s LMP cars, I assume reworked versions of whats been out there. Definitely the best looking ones of some of the cars avaialble. Lapping them around Le Mans though, seems like the R15+ struggles quite a bit to get it to turn. So I figure to make use of the new data logging app and see what the differences are...

Normally I trim the car out completely for Le Mans, but since the car doesn't really want to turn, I added all the front splitter...the traces in the first pic are comparing the 2 setup....and....Cursor is at basically the braking point of the first chicane, they have the same load....so the adjustment does nothing...

Comparing it with their other release, the Oreca 01...the Oreca makes about 2700N more downforce.....which probably explain why it seems much easier to drive....not to mention faster...

Looking at data is neat, but reminds me too much of work...

What settings should I look for to solve cars fliping over when touching kerbs? This happens with bcrc's Supercars.
There's a hidden CSP setting that you should turn on.
It's called "Don't drive on the kerbs", and you'll find it in your racing seat

JK... For the record, while I don't believe the GEN3 fizix is AT ALL aligned with reality in way of kerb-hopping (watch the IRL vids at Sandown, Gold Coast, and ADELAIDE 😱) I use the kerbs quite aggressively at those tracks, and I've never had a GEN3 flip on me. YMMV, but...🤷‍♂️

Is this happening on a particular track? Some tracks have lunar-launchpads for kerbs.

Simple setting seems to have solved the window problem - I had the TV set as the "Primary" display. Swapped it around and everything is fine with that. Swapped it back, and the problems returned.

Let's hope my power/overheating doesn't return then. Set my tower up at a different angle (which means the side-vents are more open).
Ok power issues are sorted. Now that I've got my mods from the past month or two installed through CM, I've hit another snag: Anyone have any understanding of why the monitor selection on CM has locked me to my smaller monitor, and not the TV monitor? AC has definitely run in the past on the TV (on my older PC)

EDIT: Disregard, was able to fix by unselecting "Fullscreen" first.

@Greg_ST I'm glad you like compliments, because I'm here today mainly to compliment your work! I saw the R33 last night, tested it and came back to raise the thumbs up. You woke up some good memories with this car and also helped us complete the lineup with all the JGTC cars. Thank you very much for this!

I'm also curious about Velo's site, if anyone knows. He uploaded a picture of a Ferrari 250GT LWB about a month ago. Although I didn't find the car uploaded in the site. Is it published anywhere else or is it a wip?

Yes, it's happening at Adelaide. No problem for me with kerbs, but the AI.

About the "I'm glad you like compliments, because I'm here today mainly to compliment your work! .........."
Thank you "Na se kala"
About the "I'm also curious about Velo's site". Personally, I don't know
About the "guy who is leaking good quality mods", this happens all the time and not only with mods you can't do much about it my opinion, and it is just a waste of time, mods are not business or a full-time job, you do mods, people like it then it's good, not liking then try harder. Every mod creator has copy/pasted in the beginning from others or from kunos even the RSS.
About the "Geroda is one of the best modders" I don't know, maybe. I have only worked many times with Paris Kritikos from VII graphics he has helped me many times.

@Greg_ST είσαι στα αλήθεια Ελληνας; (Translation for the other people: "are you really Greek") I thought you just like the flag.

I edited my post and removed the last part because I don't want to **** talk about others. In this case though, I think it is totally unfair to leak mods all day. At least he doesn't remove credits, but still, he's messing with everybody's work.

I'm not aware of Paris Kritikos, even though he sounds Greek to me  (and yes, it means that the name sounds familiar to my ears.)

I see we're playing "one additional bit of info at a time". OK.
Which version of Adelaide? There are 10 on @Breathe 's list.
Could there be an AI update for the version you're using? look on the right of the breathe list for extras.
Could you make a new AI that's better?

Could you please explain further?
gentleman, a short view back to the past

3 years ago, I criticized ACFL for their 2006 mod, about how they destroyed CTDP good work with a below simdream level of quality, and dared making it a paid mod. They told me "If it's so easy then why don't you do it yourself?"

During these 3 years, I went from someone who knew nothing about modding, who did botched body replacement with 3Dsimed.
1732200736982.png

And I improved, I learnt, I aquired new skills, found people to help me doing tasks and making the cars better. Because I had some basics quality criteria.

1732200910798-png.1406918

And as a side note, Simdream went from ripping off rfactor model to creating new 3D models, that looks good from afar.

MEANWHILE

Acfl is a team, that were present since rfactor days. they have more than 8 years of modding in their hands. And the quality of their product in 2024 is still far from 2024 standard. 3D wise, the car are far from being correct, even simdream get closer to the actual shape of the car than ACFL. And they are the only team in Assetto Corsa who still hasn't figured out how to make good looking tyres

They pushed out a new update for the benetton and the 1994 mod with this changelog

NEW TYRE TEXTURES

So we went from this
1732201291723.png

To the same blurry tyre texture that reminds us of the PS2 era

1732201406278.png

They still have troubles after more than 8 years in Assetto Corsa getting the tyres right. And their inflated ego doesn't want to acknowledge any criticism. And this is the group that is supposed to represent french modding.

8 years.....

This must be a French specification
A french company makes AC tracks only for “professionals” which are also far from the 2024 standards...
Time must have stood still in 2000 in some parts of France...

But that's not how it's supposed to be, we had many french talents in the modding scene, big names in rfactor. And today we have people who bring shame to our online reputation. There's a reason why I'm using barbados flag here in gtplanet
