Guys I'm so confused... Do I need to use these Rings to Hard Mount the Wheel to My PlaySeat Rig?

One of the Pads doesn't have the Padding so would be uneven when mount It to the surface...? The Diagram in the manual is very unhelpful and doesn't explain It properly....

On My T500RS I Just used the normal M6 Screws to the Base.

Ok, so what I can see from the manual is that you should have two of the large metal washers that should both have a rubber backing. The two bolts go through the two smaller washers first, then through the two large washers with the metal side at the head end of the washer, the bolt then goes through the underside of the wheel mount on your rig and finally the bolts screw into the threads on the wheel base.

^ That's how I read it too.

I'm surprised that they included bolts, tbh. In the other PDF for mounting the wheelbase, they specifically say not to screw the bolts more than 12mm into the base (https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/t-gt-en/). So the length of the bolts you need depends on the thickness of whatever you're mounting it to.
Good spot. I hadn't looked at that document!

@Marky264 You should be able to find a bit of rubber you can cut to the right size if one of the large washers has it's backing missing. I wouldn't worry about it being the exact correct thickness, just as long as it's similar.

Thanks for the replies guys, I just decided to ignore using that massive pad as one of them without It Just feels uneven! There's alot of padding on the bottom of the base you can see anyways so used normal M6 Screws to hard mount It to my playseat and away we go...! Just Updating the Software on the Wheel first & Then I can finally play GT Sport after waiting 4 Days! :D

EDIT: Now having another Issue with the Wheel trying to get It Updated on the PC. Will open a separate thread regarding Support for it as I'm concerned the PC is no longer picking the wheel up as the latest Update Failed and won't detect it.

I think I misunderstood your PM.... Wheel hub bolt direct to the playseat. Pedals, I'll send you that picture tomorrow :)

I guess the point of the pads is just to get the best out of the butt-kicker-style part of it, so no real issue if you don't use them, but probably better if you do. TM ought to send you another pad since it was missing.

Hope you get the driver/firmware issue sorted... or at least get it working with GTS :)
