So... I've searched what seems like the entire internet for a couple days for this problem and haven't found anything remotely similar... So I love listening to music on YouTube when I'm playing games. I always use my A40s and have for a couple months now but without even changing anything just recently something happened... The way I have this set up... Cable from mix amp to laptop, cable from mix amp to PS3, then the other 2 mix amp cables that are needed to use all this. Whenever I pause a YouTube video and then resume, all sound coming from my laptop stops. I have to reload the page or even turn some setting on and off to fix it so I can hear it again, then I pause it and it stops all sound again. Can anyone help me with this? Any help would be much appreciated at this point.

Do you have set (in your laptop audio settings) that your mix amp is primary device for all your audio ? Maybe it switches to its speakers?

Check Control panel>Sound>Playback

There is no option for my mix amp, the only options I have are digital audio HDMI, speakers/headphones and independent RTC headphones. I've played around with them, enabling and disabling all 3 with different combinations and it doesn't do anything. Anything else that might help?

That's strange maybe A40 is different but for me the "voice" part "USB audio device".

I usually do the same thing as you by connecting my pc trough usb (that way it sends audio trough usb + powers it) + optical out from ps3/ps4 in to it. Then it mixes Game (ps4/ps3) and voice (pc). I'm guessing A40 is similar ? Check devices panel to see if all USB devices are installed correctly.
