Well, I've been a little worried about this one :scared: so I plunked it in the middle.....

Only need to stay off the walls, if it's to hard to get a clean one in you all can shoot me at dawn :lol:

This is my weekest track of GT4. I think I can give it a shot next week 👍
 
Well, half the idea of this series was to go "off the beaten path" so mission success on that part :P

I'm just now getting a session in and have to say it is tuff but not that bad, I'm using 200 or 210 topy based on a 3rd gear in the super roundy.....
 
I started with the settings all stock with the exception of the power and weight to comply with the rules of this challenge. I did okay, but I noticed that I needed a little taller of a gear. so I bumped it up 2 places and ran it some more. That got me where I'm happy for now, but I did notice that there is more to be found on this track still. The real question is can I keep it all together for the lap. LOL :)

My section time is 0'48.835
 
Heh. You guys don't know the meaning of weak. :scared:

After 10 laps I had a clean lap. And after 50 I got another one. :crazy:

LOL I was thinking about giving it another try, but I don't want to make any feel "weak". Just because your section time is slower than mine doesn't mean that your time isn't faster than mine. My 2nd section was not as good as it could have been.
 
Great splits from Madalynne! .. will be interesting to see the battle between the 2 female drivers for sure 👍

I just ran a good hour on this combo to get aquainted with the track as I think its my first laps on this reverse course! .. slowly but surely I am knocking it down and getting to grips with it ... but its damn tough to stay off the walls on some of the tighter turns :crazy:
turn 1 is a pain and so is turn 3 etc... there's many of them :dopey:

anyway .. my best save so far has 47.828 at the split and have seen a few 47.4's but I dont think I will be commiting my life to this combo this week or I might go insane :crazy: another session before the deadline and I'll submit and looking forward to the next one :cheers:

Thanks for the comment on my split time. Yours is impressive as well. I knew a 47.x was possible, but I didn't expect to see that much!! It's a shame I wont get to see that run, I'm curious to know where I'm losing time.

As for the GT4 - ATR3 - Female Cat Fight, lol I'm should it will be fun! C'mon Kelly, what's your split? 👍

Madalynne: Some of us are "weak" and old too. :) but, we're here to have fun. ( I can only speak for myself of course) You put them times up there and we'll chase 'em. 👍

Erik: Travel delayed a few hours because of local business (wife) so I just had to run a few quick laps. I'm not addicted or anything. :crazy: So, I will post and submit a time for this one. Thanks for the hard work and posting this early enough for me to get a time in this week. See you on the 30th.

Ok I ran another session and took .5 off my lap time so I will submit this one and be done with it :P .. 47.548 in my best save :)

sorry guys & erik especially, but tho i like the challenge in general a lot i dont like city tracks, especially not when they're as tight as paris. but no worries, i'll wait till 4 comes round and if it'll be a nice & widier track be sure i'll be there 👍 👍 👍
 
Well, I thought this one might go over like a ton of lead :dopey: but the series is called "rally" so at least one tight course was in order.

Glad to see some of you still running and I promise that next week will be a more open track with a kinder car 👍

I just ran a few and realize that the last 2 turn before the roundy make a huge difference.

Damn fast Jim 👍 I wont be racing this one again as I simply have no patience for such a technical wall combo and wearing ice skates to boot :sly: and also I'm mixed up in a rally battle with Werner at GTRP for the Arcade Swiss Alps record which I would like to claim :)

ahem......... Well senility has reared it's ugly head......... I must withdraw my times, for they were done with R/Hard tires and not R/SuperHard. :banghead:

I beg the forgiveness of all for this mistake on my part in that I did not fully check my replay before entering my time.

I am sorry :guilty:
