Hope everyone survived the tour to Paris ;) On to something a little more sane, I had a little trouble keeping this thing in line going down the hill into the first tunel, other then that it's a blast.

Hi Gingiba, nice to see you here :) not sure what you mean about character but I'll say this; two other choices for this car where citta with min power and r1, and df rev with max power and r5, anyway you might be pleasantly surprised. 👍
 
Citta on R1s sounds tempting enough ;)

I'll run this too, though. Character, I mean that wild oversteer the Mid-engined Renaults are known for - and too sticky a tyre makes sliding them a little more difficult because of the increased snap.
 
first go @ my beloved midfield - forward and reverse - in the crazy little frog car. anyone ever seen a road version of it irl? those back wheel arches are just insane ...

gearing standard at 260 but that might be a bit long. power might have been at -20 for all i care.

never ever lift and steer in this car - you'll be backwards before you know it. otherwise it's not as irky as the stratos like erik told me this morning by a wide margin.

My third session, 250 topy, the last s can be taken faster than i thought :dopey: , I'm braking early for it 120mph or so, ending over 130mph.....

Nice combo Eric! .. and I like how you blended the Midfield track logo into your header pic 👍

Ran a few laps to get aquainted as its not as good to me as its forward namesake :P ... and it sure is make or break into the tunnel to start the lap :scared: I'm averaging about 1 in 6 attempts I can take it flat out and clean :dopey: after that the only tough part is the last turn and the braking point I guess 👍 my best save so far has .. 21.717 / 43.690
I can see lots to improve on ... namely the last double left onto the finish straight where I have a tendancy to wreck my best laps :dopey:

Thanks Ron :) I know going down that hill is a real bitch, but at least it's at the begining of the lap :dopey: And the rest makes up for it to me. Original plan was minimum power on r2 for this track, but thought this to be more fun.

I've been hiting the pavement hard and had a little reward, not what I was hoping for, but maybe it will still come, have had some 43.8xx only to toss the s once and the last bend once :dopey: I've got a bit more in me on this one......

With similair splits (43.93) I was able to nock .15 off the line :) so I got the last sector.......now, just too see if I can link it all up :dopey:
 
I've recieved a few subs already so i decided to stop running.... I did well by my standerds so 👍 to me hahahaha, I hope to have a vid of my craptastic driving up soon so you all can see me in action (no laughing aloud)

Erik, Just returned from vacation to find my house is sold. Going to be very busy packing and moving but will attempt a couple of late nite runs.


Edit: Had a chance to run about 20 laps.

I actually like the combo. Very interesting car to drive that's for sure. Wish I had more time but, we'll give it a go later tonight.
 
Managed to do a few laps just before going to bed. I always struggle with this car, so I settled for just a decent run. Splits 22.071 / 44.061

I'm working on the next race and will have it up soon 👍

It has been brought to my attention more then once that I missed a great rally track, so I'm asking if you all wan't to go one more round? six instead of five, it is a tight street course of course and most of you probably like it more then I. Would be fun to do, but I need input from ya'll in case some are watching the final standings and do or don't want another run to change things....... Let me know
