one good plugin is TomSteady: http://winamp.com/plugins/detail.jhtml?componentId=36297

which fluxes the volume of songs, so if the song is too loud, or too low, it will regulate it accordingly... its sweet!

Or perhaps your Windows install has gone insane. You may want to consider a reinstall of the whole shabang. Or even another suggestion - what do you have in the way of a video card and sound card? You may be asking more of your machine than it can handle.

It is winamp2.78 with a winamp3 skin, I like the way winamp3 looks, but I hate how crappy it is ATM.

It just happend to be the skin of the song, it changes with each song, I have so many

yeah, right now W3 is pretty crap compared to 2.78

i dont know if i'll even use 3, until it gets some good plugins, i have a resumer plugin for 2.78 right now, it resumes my song at the spot i had it at when i closed winamp, and then i have a plugin that lets me control winamp through my game controller, its a sweet setup.

Sound Blaster SB900 Video card
AMD K7 1Ghz
256mb ram

i don't know much about computers... that's about all i know

Yeah, but this thing that pisses me off the most with winamp3 is, I have no bloody clue how to edit the ID3 tags!?!

And since I'm constantly editing the ID3 tags, I dont use it.

I'm currently using 2.78, with a Mazda 323F(4wd Protege 5, was in GT2, only in Europe) Club skin. How do you use a skin that somone else made? I can't get it to work.

Just put hte *.wsz file in the skins folder in the winamp directory.
