Audi R10 TDI

Does anyone have a tune for this beauty of a car?

This car is prone to spin out or oversteer, if you don't have precise throttle control.

Anyone have a tune to fix this?

I have both Audi R8 Race Car/ Team Oreca, and both tend to handle pretty well.

I want the R10 to be the same!

I actually just made a tune for the Peugeot 908 specifically to help with the acceleration madness. Something to consider is that the Ferrari F1 cars (super light, super powerful) come with default toe settings of -0.50F and +0.50R. I think I had the rear set at +0.60 for the 908 which people have told me helped out the issue. I'd experiment there, and also consider using equal or even slightly softer suspension in the rear of the car.

Lower the initial torque on the LSD.

No. Well, yes with what I'm about to recommend, but initial torque has no effect on steady-state cornering, only the transition from acceleration to deceleration and vice-versa.

My initial torque is at 10 isn't that already low

It depends on what your other settings are.

I noticed with the Peugeot 908 I got the snap oversteer on-throttle to cease by setting the diff to 5/5/5 (as loose as it goes) while at the same time ridding it of the off-throttle push at all speeds. This does result in slightly more wheelspin coming off corners but it doesn't cause uncorrectable oversteer like the default settings do... And it WILL break traction in 2nd and 3rd either way, this just makes it so that when it slips it doesn't kill you.

I'm pulling my hair out with this car!

Ugh.

Here is my tune. (I am a novice tuner)

Inital Torque : 10
Accerlation Torque : 8
Braking Torque : 8

Suspension:
Ride Height : F: -15 R: -20
Spring Rate : F: 14.0 R: 14.3
EXT : 7/7
COMP: 7/7
Anti-Roll : 4/5

I'm not sure 'bout these camber/toes(off of my head)

Camber: F: 2.4 R: 1.0
Toe: F: -.02 R: .35

Brakes : 5/4

Handling characteristics:

The car at high speeds has alot of grip, and turns with ease. At low speeds is where it struggles. At slow corners under heavy breaking with my heel-and-toe-ing, the car tends to understeer. Also, using throttle or leaving it as it is, creates under-steer also. The car also doesn't feel as stable as the Peugoet 908 =/. I really want to enjoy this car and make it on par with the 908. ><. The Audi R8 Race Car handles alot better then this.

UGH THIS CAR IS MAKING ME PULL MY HAIR OUT.

@Rotary Junkie,

I've tried your tunes and really liked them, I hope you would by some time and tune this beast ><.

I'm trying to redo my tune for this car. Pd dropped the ball on this thing. It's freaking ridiculous I can not find a balance to get rid of the low speed understeer and the snap oversteer. I finally pulled a high 5 min lap on nürburgring with it but its not something I'd let you guys drive cause its to twitchy. I'm starting to think unfortunately that this car was skewed up by pd. So ok not giving up but its challenging.

5 minutes is a really good time. This car reminds me of the untuneable Ferrari Enzo. I remember the Audi were easy to drive said from one of Audi's driver (Allan McNish) themselves yet in this game its a pain In The arse
