Hi all. The 4l e quattro r18 tdi, seems non quattro. The front paws don't dig for me. Don't get it. I wanted the 4l,which I have now, because of the awd. Fast car, great car. But the front paws don't dig. Also the Porsche 918 with aero and full suspension, basically full upgrad3d... eats the hypercar class up. But so does a realllly gnarly corvette.

The front tires only engage when you have hybrid battery power available. Also they only engage with a small/mild amount of steering angle. It’s can be a tricky car but very rewarding when it starts to make sense. Hopefully that helped. 🍻

The Audi R18 was on same regulations as the Porsche but there always was a step or two behind Porsche on the ERS subcategory. There were divisions on the energy you could recover per lap, the more you recover the less fuel you had, better mileage but less power for the internal combustion engine.
Because of the extra weight of the diesel engine, they never could have big batteries and electric engines (also only had a ERS (kinetic at the front) as the regulations allowed two (Porsche had also thermal, Toyota kinetic on both axles).
So the Porsche has a less powerful ICE but a brutal eletric power to front wheels

Edit: But the 4.0 Audi should have better aero than the Porsche.
